Slasher, would you not agree that taking a step backwards to take a few steps forward is better than taking no steps at all? ondforty (Cavan) - Posts: 469 - 13/06/2011 11:38:42 954704 Link 0 |

dead right ochonloir these so called cavan fans seem to forget last years performance in breffni vs fermanagh ,we played what will prove to be a very good Donegal team yesterday who are going to be very formidable. I'm saying all year be patient with players and management for God's sake stop talking about changing management we've had all that over the last 10 seasons. This year was never going to be about a charge in the ulster, we are coming from a very low base where negativity has been our best card for a long long time. Stop whinging & moaning get yourselves down to Breffni in 2 weeks time & use all that hot air to get behind " OUR COUNTY" & give them youngsters your full backing they deserve it!!! spiritof97 (Cavan) - Posts: 36 - 13/06/2011 12:13:26 954746 Link 0 |

al rite lads, as a Donegal fan, let me say-yous will be back at the top some day, yous have probably the youngest team in the country. We have had some worse days than that. paddy92 (Donegal) - Posts: 141 - 13/06/2011 15:20:41 955121 Link 0 |
something of interest about the game, despite the talk about how the u21 were not fit for the challenge, they accounted for 6 points of our total of 1-08 (and if you take away sub michaels brennans contribution of 1-01 it just shows you how little the old guard actually contributed. cavangaafan (Cavan) - Posts: 218 - 13/06/2011 16:33:42 955264 Link 0 |

Let's be honest, cavan were never going to beat Donegal. They are a few years ahead of us in terms of development. I don't think you can blame Val and Terry for looking towards the future but my starting 15 for the next day would be: holluc (Cavan) - Posts: 52 - 13/06/2011 16:54:11 955301 Link 0 |
