who would u start instead of him though? sure half the players could have been dropped, with no gameplan they were never going to win. more power needed and players who kick the ball.

You keep repeating yourself slasher you wanted change and you got it now sack the manager, more change more uncertainty and then when that happens, sack the next guy

Admit it you are delighted with today's result

We have a new set up, two good years at u21, young players who have now got championship experience we are developing a team. In your world success is hounding out a manager and getting gratification from hearing similar views from rich kid and shev and that ilk you and me are different you revel on failure I look for ways we can get out of it so we can celebrate achievement, you have the upper hand at the moment as your wishes appear to be coming through but I believe we can be patient and move forward with this group of young players and the is management team.

But doratheexplorer even the existing seniors players there lack in pride and I just cannot see any other senior player picked would be any different. I can see peoples agrument with too many young players but I honestly think they were worthy to be picked on performances. If Kevin Meehan, Packie Leddy and Oisin Moynagh were available I think they all would have played today with Meehan ahead of Murray and Leddy ahead of Flanagan. It just shows the absence of any valuble input from our most senior players. Was not aware that issue with the Kingscourt player. Just adds to the misery.

We need solutions but where to begin?

Shut up vice, you didnt even go to the game for such a hardcore supporter.

Donegal will be absoutley wiped out by Tyrone with no Murphy either. Donegal are most bland negative dour side to watch on this island.

We need solutions so we can do as slasher and shev and rich kid want which is point the big finger of blame, damn the management and players or we could persevere and bring this talented bunch of young players along?

It was a very disappointing match all round.Cavan weren't at the races.we should never have started with our most experienced players on the bench .mc keever and nesty should have started.the referee was very poor.he should not have sent off murphy.it was obvious that he was just makes the numbers even.this is not good enough where players have spent months training.

Kevin Meehan do me favour, hes even worse then what we have. Got ruined in the U21 final.

You must be a gaels man suggesting him. We need more power not light players.

Donegal won't be wiped by anybody they have good players and have perfected their system

I suppose it's appropriate that a graceless lug like you should answer your non attending counterpart

lads calm down its early days yet and dont judge this team on one bad performance.the conditions were terrible and more suited to donegals style of play.we older posters asked for change and we got it with new players.the management can only play with whats in front of them.lets wait for judgement until after longford match and then judge them.then we ll find out

Tyrone will beat Donegal by at least 10 points. Easily.

Its okay for Donegal to play 14 behind the ball against rubbish like Cavan. Quality like Tyrone will bury them like their crap football deserves.

Ochonlir, you should manage our county team. You sound like Arsene Wenger talking about 27 year old "young players". As usual these "youngsters" never grow.

Jacknoff, yes I am a Gaels follower. Kevin Meehan is possibly the fastest player in the county, very skillful and can score. His distribution is excellant, remember the pass he made to Niall Murray at the end of the U21 Ulster final? How he destroyed the Wexford half backline in the semi-final? Or even in his underage days how he destroyed every opposition and was crucial winning 2 minor doubles. Granted he played poorly in the final but that was just one game and in his defence he was played out of position (starting centre half back despite wearing number 5) which exposeed some weeknesses he has. He is no centre back because of his lack in height and strength. But to refuse such a class act of a talented footballer is criminal. No doubt you made your comment because of your begrudging attitude towards the Gaels. Enjoy your sour grapes I am sure it is a delight living in such misery.

Dane O Dowd was destroyed. Murray, Damian Reilly, and the other CB whoever it was I dont know were all poor.
Fair enough its their first game but most of them are not good enough at this level especially O Dowd.

We need more power and experience.

The likes of Gaynor, Sean McCormick from Ballyhaise and Toasty from Kingscourt, should have been playing and are alot more physical. Inexcusable they werent on the bench.

We wont win any game with the management and starting 15 we seen today. They wouldnt win the Leinster junior championship.

You sound like Arsene Wenger talking about 27 year old "young players". Are young players consisted of 6 under 21 players and numerous others under the age of 25 Jacknoff. How stupid are you?

Blue Revolution if you think Kevin Meehan and other small light players from the Gaels are the answer you are more deluded than I thought.

There was enough light Gaels players on the field today performing badly, we dont need more.

Well at least some of us predicted what would happen and were right, and it wasn't hard to do. Our management couldn't see it though. Andrews expended more energy around the pitch than some of the players too but what was he telling them ? Whatever it was it didn't make much odds !!

Cavan football is in a seriously bad way and falling further behind the rest of Ulster. It needs major surgery and this management team are not the ones to do it. There have been rumours of player/management trouble too. Looking very bad for the future and Longford will could rub more salt into the wounds !! We can't go any lower anyway !!

Blue Revolution I dont want to hear about Arsene Wenger and other nonsense about young boys. This is a GAA forum.

Go off to Terry Coyle and practise you might make the team yet.
