Strongest outfit we have, Sheridan is the best job for Murphy I think. However I fear we will be swamped at midfield, McKiernan could'nt do it for the U21's at Midfield, he'll hardly do it on this stage. Hopefully Givney will be able for it.

After all the talk of the under 21's, it appears that only one is making the suggested starting line-up
what about Moynagh, or fergal flanaghan, or McDermot, murry, brady (jack and/or Michael)

That's the team you would pick then and not in fact 'Cavan team to face Donegal'? That makes more sense, to be honest i wouldn't even bother putting a team together because i doubt Andrews is too sure of his team given the changes made throughout the year.

I'd say Moynagh would've been a cert in the full back line if he was still involved so that leaves a spot free in there! Along with this i wouldn't be overly surprised if Mc Kiernans played half forward and then used as an extra outlet for kickouts! I'd expect Mc Cutcheon will start too! Then there's the fact we don't know if Podge and Flanagan are going to be fit! Damien Reilly will also be in with a good shout of starting-one of the consistent performers throughout the year and Niall Mc Dermott could be knocking at the door too along with Niall Murray who goes through a mountain of work every game! As for Martin Cahill was he carrying an injury earlier in the year or why was he not involved in many games?

You call it negativity I call it realism. I dont see any positives from watching our midfield being cleaned out of it in a semi final and AI final. Do you? Of course you do because you have blinkered vision, and Cavan are world beaters in your eyes....

Away travelling apparently! In firness to the lad he's a future ahead of him,he might as well take the chance while he has it to get away for a bit!

They are there and as Val/Terry have picked their starting 15 I expect these are a second option to change during the match. Do we need a major back line when Donegal play 13 behind the BAlL ????

well bad 8 out of 15. that's some surprise
Cavan (SFC v Donegal) - J Reilly; J McEnroe, P Carroll, D O'Dowd; N Murray, J McCutcheon, D Reilly, R Cullivan, D Givney, G McKiernan, M Lyng, F Flanagan, N McDermott, E Keating, S Johnston.

looks quite a daring pick. could go either way but I am optimistic. at least they are being bold and good luck to everyone on Sunday. Full forward line looks capable of scoring lots if ball is let in quickly. otherwise donegal will smother our attempts. i hope the players try to combine with quick passing and plenty of movement OFF the ball. no solo runs up blind alleys.
