did padraig maher even play centre back last september , wasnt he wing back ? and yes your fb line is extremely vulnerable as seen by its performance against galway , cork should of had three goals the other day but fora lack of composure by horgan and a top class save by cummins , hows that crap , you guys are just to arrogant to realise you team isnt flawless

yes he played wing back but as I said he is the best centre back in the country and again Cork scored no goals thats not the Tipp full backlines problem now is it?
How many goals did Tipp score off the Kilkenny full backline last year? 4.
How many did Kilkenny score off Tipps "weak fullbackline" 1. THE SO-CALLED GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIME!!

All along you've been saying the only reason Kilkenny won in 09 was because of soft goals how its was PJ Ryan making saves that won it

Ye dubs shouldn't be ones to talk about arrogance, how about the procession in 09 when ye thought ye only had to turn up to beat Kerry in the football? I'll reserve judgement on ye till next saturday night

stehkli:
"as for tony og being a bad centre back are you serious he completely cleaned out tipps hf line last july" firstly where did i say he is a bad center back he's definately not the best in the country walsh, lee, o'mahony, hogan and ronan are better in my view and tony has been cleaned out a few times over the years in fact he was subbed off in the league game against tipp as i remember (would that be part of him continueing his good form). Also padraig maher played the majority of the all-ireland final at center back as I remember.

"one of the latest posts states that they have never seen anything like the strength and depth of this tipp team" what the blazes are you on about did i ever say that I said they have good strenght in dept and that is shown even in recent times when the changes turned the tide in the match in cork. I saying they have a stringer sub bench than most granted their not players you'd be naming on the team but will do a job if brought on. would clare have a stronger bench??

So stehkli if you want to discuss the game and teams fair enough, please don't misquote my posts and sure you can direct your responses to me aswell. I'll go out on a limb here I take it you have clare connections?? Do you think the sparrow as done great work since he took over??

I wonder if Mulman and Thurlesblouse are the same person?

I hope they are not typical of your average Tipp supporter

hag and cheese when did i mention your name in relation to tony og regans ability na dstanding as a centre back??? i have no connection to clare all i have done is stated my opinion and have subsequently been met with a staggering response from tipp posters such a s yourself , thurlesbluezs and mulman , you all seem to look down your noses at this clare outfit in regards ability and them providiing a competitive challenge to yourselves and i think come sunday you may get a shock to see how talented they are , im not saying theyll beat you i think tipp will win but not because they have more ability but because they have more experience , physicality and no how then the clare team , clare can expose the weaknesses in this tipp team i feel which the tipp supporters are oblivious to

Well seen as I was the only one to comment on tony og at center back what other poster are you referring to?? Also this is a forum we are allowed to debate with you, and also if you look at my post after the cork game i pointed out that tipp half backs and corner backs were the weak links on the day, and if you look at the form of the full back line last year outside the cork game and the galway game (in which i think they still played well) they didn't conceed more than 1 goal in a game. Where is the evidence that clare are capable of exploiting this supposed weakness.... I expect big improvements in tipp back line in the next match. We went through many years in tipp where the strenght of the team was the backs that has changed now tipps attack is its strong point and even if they have a bad day and conceed the fowards have the scoring power to win the match for them.

And if your read any of my posts about clare over the last few years you would have seen that I rated them due to the players from the u21's comming through, but they have not made much of an impact so far in fact I think clare have regressed a bit under the sparrows management. It will all have to fall into place for this clare setup against tipp and so far watching this clare team I've seen little evidence of this happening.

Lohan: I don't really care what you think about Tipp fans, I was at a clare tipp match in the 1990s, happened to be sitting alongside a clare fan, they won i offered congratulations, he decided to act rude and spit at me. So you can clearly see why i haven't always embraced my clare neighbours.
Stekhi: Worry about your clash with galway, for all Dublin's improvement, they haven't beat anyone of note, so i'd say you should be more focused on that.
