Clare have little chance against Tipp

Noel Mcgrath's cousin looks a class act and hopefully he makes the step up.

His brother John was playing wingforward last night aswell think he has another year left at minor?? Appartantly he has another brother who around 13/14 now and they make out he's better now than noel was at his age!

Doesn't look well for Tipp at minor level at the moment, not worried but the team isn't a patch on the 06 and 07 minor teams. Don't think we're in as bad a state as cork are. At least we still have the under 21s and senior in action.

(noel mcgraths brother being one)
Correction that should have been cousin, but given time his brother should too.

Mulman:

I not too conerned in relation the minor team yes they weren't as good as previous teams but of a few players can make the step up that should be enough as tipp have a young and expireanced senior panel at the moment.

You are actually doing your best to ruin this website. I dont know how your posts get through. You are an embarrassment to your county. You claim to be a big supporter but you didnt even go to the match yesterday. This is the last time I will engage with you as I only want to discuss matches with real supporters. On a final point to you (ever), our minors will tump ye next Friday.

I was there I live in Limerick
and it is ye who are the embarrassment as ye are still the whippin boys of Munster in Tipp eyes

we beat yer minors ten points

Based on the result of the game against Waterford I assume?

So who do you play in the Munster final, just in case Antrim get out of Ulster?

Limerick and Waterford are in other semi winners to play Clare. Major change in underage pecking order in Munster. The strength of the major College nurseries is begining to have an impact.

Sure just the other ay Hag and Cheese was telling me that Flannan's and Kieran's owed all their success to Tipp lads........

Minor All-Irelands are worth nought. They're nothing but a nursery for the senior team. Clare beat Tipp, wow. They've a hell of a long way to catch up at senior level. Can the tables be turned and Clare be the dominant Muster team over a sustained period of time? Not likely.

Minor All Irelands worth nothing? You must be mad. How do you think Tipp and Kilkeeny and Cork go on to be so successful at senior? Its from good underage structures with successful minor and under 21 teams.....

Well done to Clare Minors, a very positive result for them and for hurling in general, my goodness but isn't the silence from certain quarters deafening!!!!!

Munster is looking interesting for the next few years, tipp have a young panel and should be around for a while, limerick are back and o'grady should stay on, waterford are always there or thereabouts, clare's underage success will start to bear fruit on senior stage and cork can come back in a flash.

lohan minor does mean very little how many all irelands have galway won at that level yet havent won liam since the 80s as a matter of fact im not sure many of the kk senior team that did 4in a row were minor heros

Recent Kilkenny players who won at minor include tennyson, rice, Power, O'Dwyer, Cha and Michael fennelly.

U21 was a better source. From the 1999 team Eddie Brennan, henry, Hickey and Kavanagh.

Later U21 winners include Tommy Walsh, mustn't hae been good enough for the minors, JJ Delaney, PJ Delaney, Larkin, Fogarty, TJ Reid, and Richie Hogan.

booboo is right though, limerick won three all ireland under 21s in a row in the early 2000s but that success hasn't translated into senior success.

I missed patriques dig on this thread..... I never said it was because of the tipp lads but it's interesting to note that since they closed their boarding facilities they aren't as strong anymore.
