im sure you could name the last 5 mayo managers as they change manager more often than their socks, always get the blame for lack of success, prob 5 managers in 10 years would i be right, as where teams that enjoy success stick with their manager. boylan, kernan, harte, odwyer, mcgeeney :) some counties should stop blaming their managers and just realise they dont have the talent samin10 (Armagh) - Posts: 2434 - 23/07/2008 12:35:59 54712 Link 0 |

art mc rory. although micky harte won 2 all-irelands a league and ulster titles as well as loads at underage level, for which i say he is also a great manager, but art had to take a team who wern't used to winning and he hadn't got as much talent to work with. altough he didn't land the ultimate prize he laid alot of the founds and it was right to bring micky when they did because art had done all he could it just needed new ideas to add the finishing touches. its like building a house the man who laid the block had the toughest job but the painter made it look good. boutYE (Tyrone) - Posts: 13 - 23/07/2008 14:03:26 54819 Link 0 |

No Contest here in deise land for me and my generation it has to be Justin Mc Carthy a Brillant man ,Gerald Mc Carthy was also top class but a wee bit unlucky. Now looking at Davy Fitzgerald I will give him a Fair chance. So far so good seems honest and enthusiastic. shrewdjudge (Waterford) - Posts: 290 - 23/07/2008 20:40:19 55280 Link 0 |
