I was at the Under 21 game last Night and I was delighted at the way Clare played, it is a graet sign for the future already this year we have beaten Cork at Minor and Under 21 and it would be great if we could make it a hatrick next Sunday. Should be a good game tonight. Home advantage is a big plus for Clare, but then again Hanon & Downes are in great form for Limerick. Roashter (Clare) - Posts: 238 - 26/07/2011 14:53:27 995858 Link 0 |

Well u21's out on Thursday , hopefully there is no hang over from Saturday's game , very talented team this year it seems , third in the Betting stakes to take the All Ireland , think your serious value for money considering the calibre of player available to you this year , my attempt at the team is stekhli (Dublin) - Posts: 3121 - 16/07/2012 20:23:01 1219747 Link 0 |
I would be shocked if Niall Arthur made the 26 man match day squad. Most of the team is picked with probably two places in the backs and two places in the forwards up for grabs. Taeffe is nailed on for goals while Paul Flanagan will be corner back and Dvid McInerney full back and more than likely Killian Ryan in the other corner although he is under pressure from Jack Browne. johnnyroastbeef (UK) - Posts: 215 - 17/07/2012 08:30:50 1219947 Link 0 |

I would like to see him start myself, he is a smashing prospect but the fact is that Killian Ryan has been very impressive in challenge and development squad games all year and did well for the intermediates a few weeks ago, he is physically far bigger at this point in time, which will see him get the nod IMHO. Would have no issue if Browne started and he is a class act but I think Management will go with bulk in the backs hence why the two Ryans will get their places. johnnyroastbeef (UK) - Posts: 215 - 17/07/2012 10:49:18 1220043 Link 0 |
That bench is very stong. LohansRedHelmet (Clare) - Posts: 2697 - 17/07/2012 13:32:24 1220275 Link 0 |
Whats the story with McInerney he's fine hurler, is he not hurling great or something played well last year. cland (Limerick) - Posts: 229 - 18/07/2012 14:25:30 1221524 Link 0 |
He is a decent hurler alright and a decent poacher but there are better/more natural inside forwards around who are in better form at this moment in time johnnyroastbeef (UK) - Posts: 215 - 18/07/2012 15:07:53 1221594 Link 0 |

I really expected Limerick to win last night. They must not be as good as peple think because, maybe im wrong but that does not appear to be a particularly strong Tipp team. LohansRedHelmet (Clare) - Posts: 2697 - 19/07/2012 10:21:41 1222244 Link 0 |
