Bobo,
The Queen is paying a state vist later on in the year. I'm sure Cork will be on the 'to do' list, thats your big chance to bow the knee. I'm sure Crossmaglen wont be too high up on her itenary. Thats the difference.

I wouldn't worry about him lads, poor oul bobo is just confused, he's joined or supports an organisation and he doesn't even agree with its aims. Good to see begrudgery and bitterness is alive and well in west britain.

Back to the thread, congratulations to Cross and Clarinbridge.

The irony of the "Rebel county" is that they were not rebels against the British in Ireland but actually it relates to how they were "rebels" in an internal conflict in a battle for the English throne.

The story of Irish History.

Patrick Sarsfield and the lads at the Boyne fighting for James 11 of England, Owen Roe O'Neill and others fighting against the republican Cromwell forces to get the Stuart monarchy restored, and there are many others.

a sad and sorry tale.

BANTER im sure you live close enough to notice a bit of a difference with your neighbours they have better roads paid by the british taxpayer better health service paid by the same tax payer { who even the nah sayers take full advantage of } use differnt currency have different flags hanging from their government buildings does that not suggest to you that MAYBE they could be a different country to where you live .. well even so it doesnt matter what you think its what is internationally recognised

This verse came to mind.

Who fears to speak of ninety-eight?
Who blushes at the name?
When cowards mocked the patriots fate
Who hangs his head, for shame?
He's all a knave or half a slave
Who slights his country thus
But true men like you men
Will fill your glass with us

Anyway, well done Crossmaglen and Clarinbridge. ALL Ireland club champions 2011.

Bobo you seem to have a Bangui with flags

Might I suggest, that in order to lance this boil, that some one in your adopted town, Bailieborough, would allow young umpire at some of their matches.

You could stick your chest out as you raise the green flag and wipe away a tear as the crowd cheer their brave little soldier.

Crossmaglen will never be on her itinery even though as you say in it's part of ' Her Territory' . Unlike ' the rebel county' this year when youse will all be falling over her down there. That's the difference!!

You've said this before and you couldn't back it up when questioned about it. What aims? Where in the GAA charter/rulebook does it say anything about taking up arms against Britain?

Bobo FIFA is not in charge of Gaa affairs, the last I heard.

I bet, however that even they would find your spitefulness distasteful.(or would they be amused by you?)

They'd probably be amused to see he thinks the President of his country is a foreigner.

It must annoy you then boo that the greatest club team of all time is from in your eyes another country.

Having read your comments throughout this thread, you couldnt possibly call yourself an irishman? Hang your head in shame lad.
