Really?

I have always regarded Tennants as the worst possible selection in tin form. I would possibly drink one if it had been in the fridge for 3 days and I had been gardening on a hot Summers day for a few hours without a break and just sitting down to watch the championship.

More of a Bass/Smithwicks or any real ale man myself anyway.

Quite partial to a nice pint of T from time to time, the tiiny version should be avoided at all costs.

The stuff we get over here is p*ish compared to UK and the continent. Had a pint at Heathrow there a few weeks back and it was delish. (must hit Newry soon)

Tennents in decent Scottish bars is a lovely, refreshing beer. I have had a few pints of the stuff after games in Scotland and it is as good as most other lagers but too much of it gives you an awful hangover. American beers are horrible; sweet, gassy and not very nice. You can't beat the continental beers for taste and quality. Belgium, Germany, Holland and France make some cracking beers. The brewing laws in Germany and Belgium are very very strict and that's why their beers are great quality.
