Yawnnnnnn! I hope this is the one and only thread devoted to booing by Dub supporters this year.Every county has boorish supporters its just that the Dubs have more of them than anyone else.

My point exactly. Just think that the Dublin team inherit an awful lot of hate thanks to their supporters rather than the players themselves, which strikes me as unfair but what can you do...

That was me.

I was just practising for when Monaghan got a free. You gotta keep the voice ready.

You mean the Dublin supporters booed their own player?

Didn't think so

Without justifying it in anyway, I think the Monaghan booing was down to frustration caused by the ridiculous nature of the free given by the ref. Not by way of justification but by way of explanation. Earlier frees weren't booed at all. I wouldn't be a boo-er but I certainly felt like it for that last one esp as Monaghan threw it away with all their misses.

Fair play to the Dubs and a good tight competitive match in very poor conditions (which affected the quality).

In the interest of public safety I am urging all dub fans to please refrain from booing, clapping, cheering, talking and wearing blue - in case it causes hearing discomfort for our fan and players.

Noticed a fair bit of booing at the rugby games shown on TV. Thought they were immune to that?

On a happier note I was in Wexford Park yesterday and there was not even the hint of a boo from either set of supporters. Then again, hurling just attracts a more civilised type of personI suppose ;-)
