How come Calow arent getting a word in here?
We have played two poor sides and disposed easily but if we get ourselves together we are contenders but maybe that is just my biased opinion but it as good as Westmeaths or Longfords biased opinions also.
The main thing is that four smaller footballing counties are in the semi finals instead of dublin and meath.Heslin is Westmeaths star so who is Longfords?

It's just very hard to look past the credentials of Westmeath and Longford. As you say Carlow have only beaten one woeful team (I wouldn't even count the Killkenny match, I would imagine most decent Carlow club teams would beat them easily enough). I wouldn't rule them out either though.

The whole Longford panel are the stars in the team!! As my neighbour from Westmeath said no one man makes a team. But I do agree its refreshing to look at the semi finals containing Carlow, Longford, Westmeath and Wexford all in the same year!!!

To be fair its going to be very difficult to stop Tyrone this year. All Ireland Champions in this age group in 2008 and a couple of the 2010 team as well will take some beating

Sounds like only 3 teams have made it into the Leinster semis. Do Carlow get a bye into the final?
Sounds like they won't have a chance against the winners of Longford and Westmeath.

Roscommons win yesterday has to seet them as contenders. That mayo team had minors who got to the AI final in 08 and 09. They would be favourites for connacht at this stage id say. Another team I think will do well is Cavan. They beat Roscommon twice in the hastings cup including the final and beat them well so they would be outsiders. Overall I think Tyrone will win it though.

Defending Ulster Champions Donegal kick off their campaign tonight. I've seen the starting team and there are obviously a few short from last year such is the nature with underage teams. I would expect them to overcome Antrim tonight but after that I don't know how much further we'll progress. Cavan/Fermanagh await the winners. I would be happy with winning Ulster, however I think its Tyrones to lose.
