Decent Kildare side to play Wexford. Some lads here making their Kildare debuts. Very young side

Interesting to see what Offaly are like because they are big enough odds

All this talk about Westmeath and Heslin been great.....nonsense. They're a good team and Heslin is a good player nothing more. Don't forget Longford minors kept Westmeath and the GREAT Heslin in their box last year!

They seem to be very big odds on offaly!
They had very good minor teams there for a few years in a row. Should be a few decent players coming through there.

i like the look of meath at 3/1, if they can get micky newman back and bring mark collins out of his exile they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Also if westmeath can get by offaly without heslin, i see them as dark horses as they had a great run to the final last year and have the main players from last year remain.

How can you fancy Westmeath as 'dark horses' when they are a shorter price than Meath?

because meath beat ragin hot favourites dublin, whereas westmeath beat a dire laois team. paddypower clearly hasnt got a clue about the u21 championship as some of the odds they have been quoting are ridiculous so thats why

Think Meath are worth a bet considering this would be the Meath team that won the the Leinster minor.

Well done to Wexford. Two good results. They won't fear anyone moving forward and rightly so.

Well done Longford, quietly going about their business. Outscoring Meath 17-11 is some feat away from home. Westmeath had a good win also. Shaping up to be an exciting Leinster championship by looks of things!

To be fair there are a lot of teams left who people would like to see win for a change. It's great to see but the only problem is only one of them can win.

Cadbury Leinster U21FC
Carlow 8-19 Kilkenny 1-1
Meath 2-9 Longford 0-17 aet
Westmeath 0-12 Offaly 0-6
Wexford 0-13 Kildare 0-12
Are the semi pairing already lined up? To be fair from those results it's going to be very difficult to pick a winner. I know they were playing the Cats but that score must be some kind of record. Might not benefit too much though. Wexford for example have had two very tough games against two good teams already. Hammering KK like that might not be ideal preparation for the next game.
