hands down it has to be tomas o se, I dont think he ever played a bad game or missed any for that matter only when he was suspended.

Have to say Mattie , to see him alone was always worth the admission , just class... also greatly admired peter Canavan, Daragh o Se , Padraig Joyce ,,all superb masters at their art.

"aesthetically pleasing footballers" For me its Micky Linden, Peter Canavan, Ciaran McDanald, Maurice Fitz, Michael Donnellan, and Mattie Forde. Currently Danny Hughes is an excellent runner with the ball and is lightning fast

Has to be Daragh o Se or Willie Joe Padden for me. Sorry I didnt see more of the latter to be honest. I find nothing more aesthetically pleasing in the game than a man being able to field a high ball and these two men were champions at it.

Forward Peter Canavan did it both in good and bad Tyrone teams for over a decade and did it at both ends for the team;

Jack O'Connor manager in the 2005 All-Ireland final, suggested in his autobiography that Canavan tackled Colm Cooper off the ball, preventing him getting into a goal-scoring position, a claim backed up by The Sunday Tribune journalist, Kieran Shannon.

Midfield it can only be Darragh O'Sé nothing in the same league and again for well over a decade, bit cynical at times when required.

Defence Tony Scullion Derry - great full/corner back with 4 All-stars, and steady as a rock.

Peter Canavan - Over the last 20 years there is not a player that comes close, what a player, not what you would describe as the ideal build to play Gaelic Football but he never let a defender physically bully him! He had skill to burn, an all time great, even watching the international rules his battle with the aussies he was no push over he give as good as he got. Used both feet and terrorised opposition defences! Deserved more All Irelands. The Meath team of 1996 seen the threat of Canavan and tried to end his footballing days but he came back stronger and his goal in 2005 all ieland final was a credit to the man.

One to watch: Sean Cavanagh (4 All Stars) an all round athlete when he takes a notion his pace and strength can carry Tyrone to more Glory. He has done it all young player of the year 2003, Player of the year 2008, 3 All Ireland Titles, Captained his Country and he can still achieve a lot more. A current great!!!
