And now a modelling contract... some week for him. He came off well on the TV the other night. Very likeable big fella. Fair play to him.

Brilliant news and common sense has prevailed. He's having a good week and I hope his date went well.

Saying that the transfer should go through because of the differences that developed between him and O'Toole's doesn't make any sense to me. That's a clear case of using the end to justify the means. I don't think the fact that it's two Dublin clubs that it should make a difference either unless people genuinely believe that the Dublin management have a preference for senior club players over players from lower grades.

Some player who grew playing underage for Vincents and supporting them on their big days now isn't going to make their senior team/squad. I don't see how this is any more acceptable than if a player from another county was taking that place. I know parish ties aren't as strong in the city but why does anyone think this is justice being done?

Am sure he's glad he can get bck to playing but will only be a squad player for Dublin come the Championship - not mobile enough and lacks discipline.

A modelling contract? When your luck is in i suppose.
I'd have thought bernard brogan would make a better model.

I'd like to hear Fennel's opinions on this. He seems a modest enough lad so saying he wants to win trophys sounds a bit daft. Most likely he just wants to play club football at the highest level. I'd say we will here from him on the media pages soon.

In relation to country players in good Dublin teams, it has a lot got to do with where they work and where they now live, most likely Dublin. If they were heading home every night they would likely be with their home club. Especially if they have a civil service job.

I presume if St. Vincents don't win the championship this year or next that he'll change his mind again.

"I wanna go to Ballymun, no Vincents, no Ballymun, no Vincents, no Ballymun, no Vincents......."

Another victory for the big clubs unfortunately.

He hasn't been part of the O'Tooles set up for quite sometime now.

Surely O'Tooles must have moved on during that time frame...

I don't think Fennel would have played for O'Tooles again regardless of the decision on last night
