I havent bought a daily in years, the interweb is my chosen source of news and current affairs, that way you can get a cross section of views, etc. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 13/02/2011 20:29:39 866819 Link 0 |

Don't diss Ireland's Own liathroidboy. My late Nan, God bless her and keep her, read that and I used to have a glance at it occasionally. Nothing sexy or sensational in there, but a nice little publication either way. Seamus89 (Kilkenny) - Posts: 3848 - 14/02/2011 11:55:42 867165 Link 0 |
The only paper Id ever buy is the Irish news, but purely for the GAA coverage. Derry_ledd (Derry) - Posts: 2093 - 14/02/2011 12:13:20 867186 Link 0 |

I read in sunday indo as GAA and sport coverage very good, main part can be very negative and the writers fail to give facts to make ur own opinion, but its analysis columns can be interesting if u want a laugh. pridengalway (Galway) - Posts: 327 - 14/02/2011 13:39:45 867279 Link 0 |

thanks black&white, my stupidity is shown!!!! although i had an idea that was the case i wasnt fully sure as there is some irish news in the main article of the paper and some irish related sports. but i am only a casual reader of it and wont buy it so i only read it occasionally. pridengalway (Galway) - Posts: 327 - 14/02/2011 14:55:56 867379 Link 0 |
When it comes to newspapers, I'd be sunk without the internet, most mornings I can breeze through the Examiner, the NY Times, The Boston Globe, Irish Times/Indo, without spending a penny. Easy to take for granted, its an amazing facility to be able to avail of. Marlon_JD (Tipperary) - Posts: 1823 - 14/02/2011 15:37:10 867439 Link 0 |
