Not being obnoxious in the slightest Brend. Ulsterman don't know the songs you're referring to really, more into Air, Daft Punk, Vitalic, Radiohead etc.

That "crossfire" was one of the worst songs I heard last year. A boyband song.

So you heard one song from the album and come on here and rubbish it?.. and have the audacity to argue with me

Pomeroy you really do come across as a conceited, pontificating fool at times on this.

Who's arguing man? Relax its nothing personal, I just think the killers and brandon flowers are rubbish. I've heard loads of their songs and all except "All these things that I've done" make me cringe they are so bad. I've read interviews with him as well an he doesnt come across well at all. Audacity? hahaha get over yourself.

I just think it's ignorant and bizarre in equal measures to have a man in his 60's go on holiday with his wife and listen to Chucky songs while talking to English people. Maybe that's just me

I will listen to most types of music depending on the mood, but I will always listen to, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Little Richard, Stevie Wonder, Elvis etc.
There is a guy who plays around Ireland by the name of Pete Fagan, plays every Thursday in KK, he plays all the above and he is BRILLIANT!

More Modern music I like Adele, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics (still), like Bruno Mars, The Corona's.

If you read my post properly you would find that I was not listening to, as you describe Chucky music. I had some months previously downloaded a few songs from Charlie & The Bhoys and the song in question came with the package, their songs represented less then 1% of total stuff I had on the MP3. I had it on shuffle and it was playing songs at random and by pure chance that song came on at an inappropriate time. I have absolutely no problem with the sentiments expressed in the song but i would not deliberately play it where it might offend anybody. I just told the story as it came to my mind when I was responding to the thread of what music you are currently listening to, and was not boasting about it . Of course you have never let the facts get in the way as you prowl the threads for opportunities to wind up people.

Okay I find it equally bizarre that a man in his 60's still listens to Chucky music, most people grew out of it by 16. Again maybe I'm in the minority in finding that strange

Well Plonker what has age got to do with anything. I must say I find many of your views equally bizarre however as I said earlier I don't want to destroy this thread with a ping pong match with you accordingly this is my last post on the thread. If you want to take it elsewhere then ok if you don't then thats equally ok.
