I take it back, I take it all back. By defeating mighty Italy, the Irish rugger goys have won my respect.

I actually thought Italy would win this.

they are now the leading scrummaging team in the world, and have enough New Zealand lads in the side to give a good account of themselves. They had a few good results in the Autumn internationals.

The Italian sides now play in the magners League as well so this helps to raise their standard.

Mind you, you would need to follow rugby to understand any of this.

Oh Patrique I'm certain you know why we have the anthem. And why would a slow and haunting ballad be a preferential anthem Patrique?Do you want people to get sleepy and relaxed on hearing it?Not the way to get pumped up before big sporting occasions.

I m not aware that they dictate where and when the national anthem should be played, that would be bordering on fascism, i would take to the streets for sure if that was the case, they merely choose not to play it at what is a private function, for very good reasons that you are aware of, which you or me or anyone else can ignore. I really dont think the citizenry of Ireland are that bothered about it. We should be trying to get away from divisive symbolism. Are they really trying to do down the country or it's citizens?

Whisht now the Corofin are batin' out a selection of reels

i really dont th

Ta im sorry but you may think like alot of people in the north the mindless killing is perfectely acceptable, which is what the song represents, i on the other hand dont want to be associated with such crap- how does this make me pathetic? in fact it makes me the exact opposite, does it make me more irish to sing a song about killing people?

Ah, liathroidbpy, ever the pacifist eh, renouncing violence at every opportunity. No wait. Hold on. I seem to recall you openly supported the use of the Egyptian police force to beat protestors of the streets.

"just send in the police and the army and beat these idiots sensesless "

That sounds like mindless violence to me, people die from being hit with batons. C'mon man, double standards, wheres your consistency?

not at all seargent- these people are breaking the law the same as when the police used to have to control people in the north- it is an offence to refuse to obey the police- north and south and im sure its the same in with what is happening in the land of the pyramids- thats is why i enjoy watching these people being beaten- they are just trouble makers

But hold on one minute. You are against mindless killing. So you dont regard killing protesting civilians as mindless?

that sort of rules out independance for scotland and wales so,,, but the fact that you managed to get a bit of name calling probably swings the arguement anyway.

there's going to be a lot of independant republics in clew bay

Imagine irelands call was introduced to include the people who are protesting about it one here- would they perfer if we played their actual anthem GSTQ? we bend over backwards wfor these people to accomodate them and all they do is moan- completely born with a moan bone and a desire to never be happy

Sily me i thought LITTLEROD was some sort of juvenile attempt at namecalling/put down towards our mayo friend, but if you say not i assume it was a typo. Your nearly as bad as myself at the typing.

even though intolerance can be very negative we must always try to find some poitive aspect to it. if perhaps you were to liase with some other group of intolerants in your area, perhaps their is an Orange lodge in the vicinity, with a view to sharing your intolerances maybe at the end of you might get to know one another somewhat. This could only bring good. In the meantime it is important that you carry on, regardless if you really feel it's necessary, but maybe a bit of regard might be more appropriate.
