Have you ever met a GAA man who goes to county games but not to club games???

I would say the majority don't go to club games.

860861 jesus hurling spuds where do all the people at an all ireland final come from so? i havent seen 80 odd thousand at a club match

do you think all 80,000 all come from the same club??
boy, surely you're capable of better than that. The 80,000 at an AI final all go to club games, they come from probably a few hundred clubs, therefore over a few thousand club games I would say that 99.9% of the people at a gaa final will have been to at least a few club games during the year. Lets compare AIL club attendances with gaa club attendances. Only one winner. Your point is ridiculous.

NO.

I remember someone saying on another thread a few months back that you dont understand rugby until you have played in. Well i played in for 5 years in school and gained nothing but contempt for the game, Its boring to be honest and bad for play if your a number 1,2,3,4,5,14,11 cause normally you never tough the ball and just wander around the field like an ejjit..

Someone mentioned Rugby is analysed and has more stats than any other sport... Id advise that person to put on sky sports 1 at 10pm sunday

I take it back, I take it all back. By defeating mighty Italy, the Irish rugger goys have won my respect. Long may this run of form continue. Ireland, Ireland, together standing tall...

The Irish Rugby team. A highly overrated group of individuals. But then can we expect anything else? Really, like our media is run by Tony O'Reilly. And what sport did he play? You take down the Irish Independent and you take Irish Rugby with you.

liathroid boy, how could 82,000 attend a club game??? Your argument is ridiculous. I wouldn't say that everyone who attends an AI goes to club games but the vast majority do. I'd say (in my opinion only!) that WAY less attend rugby club games. It would make sense when you consider the huge numbers who attend GAA club games over the summer (into the millions) in comparison with the relatively small numbers who attend rugby club games. Big numbers attend, ireland, munster and leinster games but after that???? proffer an argument instead of making smart comments and maybe the argument would go somewhere....

Everyone i know who goes to intercounty gaa matches also attends club matches. In fact, i would say that given the choice i'd much prefer to see my club win something than my county and most would probably agree.
I can't see attendances getting better with that display. terrible game. felt sorry for the italians. Everyone seems to be playing badly bar the french.

god only knows were you are coming from , i never associate my anthem to that of killing it is the anthem of the 32 county ireland , thats twice now you have lowered your anthem , calling it pathetic , and associated the anthem with killing people , you should be sorry and also ashamed of yourself by coming out with comments like that .

Now why do you need to insult the Shankhill Road, what did they do on you?

Is it that Community Centre Gerry kelly organises that annoys you, or the Irish language classes, the "worker's" traditional music festival, or what?

Speaking of trad music, with about 200 beautiful, haunting slow airs, how DID we end up with that god awful dirge that is the National anthem?

If thats what people wanted in tyrone let them do it, similarly with the rugby crowd let them play whatever they want.. dont know much about the IRFU but they dont seem to have an internal strife re the anthem

You could always join a rugby club and work for change from within. Democracy.
