cronin must start that is an absolute must, rory best isnt even a good provincial player in my opinion. after last nights display in galway- we definately should reconsider JOC a genuine openside, the man was immense ive never seen anyone in my life tackle as much right up to the final whistle. duffy had a grea games and is ithout question better than fitzgerald at fullback. while i know kidney wont start o connor in scotland - it would be absolutely criminal not to start cronin and duffy. these are not even close calls the connacht men are twice the players of their incumbents (obviously fitzgerald is a brilliant winnger but he i a below par fullback).

The last time you mentioned flying somewhere - you claimed to be flying first class with Aer Lingus - and that you always fly first class with Aer Lingus.
Aer Lingus have not done First or Business class flights on short haul for several years.

To not be aware of this would lead me to believe that you have never been out of the country

Right then. While i can't get my head around some of the stuff Ballboy comes out with, i am in agreement with him here.

Sean Cronin does need to start. Again at the weekend the lad was superb for a team he's leaving in a few months. Would be very easy to slacken off but he's still playing at full tilt, trying his all for Connacht. Same for Gavin. Please please Declan start Fitzy in his best position WING!!!!! Along with Tommy Bowe and have Gavin at fullback.

I know this won't happen because it will probably be the same team as the last day bar from maybe Bowe for McFadden.

But this game will tell us a lot about our mentality especially with the World Cup looming. Come on Ireland!!!!!!!

Indeed we do need to factor it in - I suggest a provision of €350 an hour should cover us on that one.

the team is named- possibly the only bigger thing than the election in ireland at present is the rugby... the heartbeat of the nation roll on to edinburgh.

IRELAND Team & Replacements (v Scotland, 2011 RBS 6 Nations Championship, Murrayfield, Sunday, February 27, kick-off 3.00pm):

15 - Luke Fitzgerald (Blackrock College/Leinster)
14 - Tommy Bowe (Ospreys)
13 - Brian O'Driscoll (UCD/Leinster) (capt)
12 - Gordon D'Arcy (Lansdowne/Leinster)
11 - Keith Earls (Thomond/Munster)
10 - Ronan O'Gara (Cork Constitution/Munster)
9 - Eoin Reddan (Lansdowne/Leinster)
1 - Cian Healy (Clontarf/Leinster)
2 - Rory Best (Banbridge/Ulster)
3 - Mike Ross (Clontarf/Leinster)
4 - Donncha O'Callaghan (Cork Constitution/Munster)
5 - Paul O'Connell (Young Munster/Munster)
6 - Sean O'Brien (Clontarf/Leinster)
7 - David Wallace (Garryowen/Munster)
8 - Jamie Heaslip (Naas/Leinster)

Replacements:
16 - Sean Cronin (Buccaneers/Connacht)
17 - Tom Court (Malone/Ulster)
18 - Leo Cullen (Blackrock College/Leinster)
19 - Denis Leamy (Cork Constitution/Munster)
20 - Peter Stringer (Shannon/Munster)
21 - Jonathan Sexton (St. Mary's College/Leinster)
22 - Paddy Wallace (Ballymena/Ulster)

1) Delight o gara os tarting there has being too much messing about with sexton- he is not up to the job so he should stand aside.
2) Great news the Tommy is back
3) Duffy should have started at full back, fitz on the wing, earls on the bench and wallacve out of the squad.
4) how best is starting is completely beyond me - cronin is twice the player best could ever even aspire to be- i sense that politics has something to do with it where ireland always must play a ulster player and he is the best of a bad lot. Its such a shame such politics has had a bad impact on south african rugby and is doing the same now in ireland- its obvious this is the case and its shamful to say the least- obviously deccy wasnt watching connacht hammer glasgow at the weekend if his was the cronin would have being the first name on the team sheet.

Cannot believe Rory Best starts again. What must this guy be doing in training because he sure as hell isn't doing it on the pitch.

Glad to see ROG is back in although i would have prefered Strings next to him.

Feel sorry for Fergus McFadden. Lad hasn't done a lot wrong in the last two games but once Tommy Bowe was fit it was either him or Earls for the chop. And again obviously having a proper fullback in the team is not the way to go.

Here's hoping we get the campaign back on track on Sunday.

I'm not buying that Breff. Cronin was immense against Glasgow last week, as he has been all season.

I wonder if Sean had been wearing a Leinster jersey this season whether Best would be starting.
