anyone see the bor na mona working who are off work with full pay as an upgrade is happening and they are looking for bonuses for sitting at home while on full pay- is this what the unions have reduced us too, is it any wonder the world thinks we are off our rocker and with actions like this its no wonder europe are losing the cool with ireland - the celtic tiger is roaring on in the minds of evry irish person yet its other decent countries that are paying the bill.

Sorry this has amused me how would you propose robotics would work within bord na mona.... computeristed harvesting machines driving over the bogs of ireland, what do you know about manufacturing processes within bord na mona?? There is a principal in regards to "robotics" as you so crudely defined it in regards to lean what is it?

hag and cavan my two personal stalkers HS would be a boring place if you two did not obsess on my every word!!

see the unions in the banks think they should save all the jobs in the restructuring as they are worried about customer services- the communists are great for a laugh i must say- they know as much about business as my two stalkers- nothing!

i think with the banks, management should send around an email requesting how much of a pay cut is each individual prepaired to take- that would provide the best basis on which to know who to let go- obviously rid the place of all the communist activists first- that is a given

well folks i guess this is a case of I told you so. All the striking/ lazy behaviour of the staff has back fired with Aer Lingus saying it has to come back for more cuts. This brings a smile to my face on a wet thursday morning as i said at the time these staff are cutting the branch they are sitting on and their unions are playing a dangerous game whereby their members will suffer alot or the company will go bust. as staff have become so accustomed to hiding behind the union they dont realise that is they put their heads down there will be minimal pain and they will guarntee their job. the choice is theirs but i fear impact are going to ensure the once national carrier will be no more- will anyone feel sympathy with the staff - absolutely not as this has being going on for donkeys years now and they only have themselves to blame. the choice is yours? yet again im always right on these matters, well done aer lingus on trying to get your house in order- the lessons for wider society is if you want you business to fail you let unions become involved.
