870951 oh lord HAG- you really do amaze me, all you are doing is offering alternative meansto what i say but its pointless with you as you only view things one way- your proving nothing bar there are different ways of doing things - would it not just be safer for me to say i use qualitative analysis does that sort it for you. its pointess debating with you on this i use my method you use other methods i couldnt be bothered going into the finer details - you may have plenty of time for deep sophisticaed anaysis talk.

The method I'm using at the moment uses qualitive and quantitive measures to say you use qualitive measures again is very vague..... also would DMAIC mean anything to u??

If the business is in trouble is it not more likely that the problem is at mangement level ?
Too many staff, staff doing wrong jobs, badly skilled staff, lack of investment, ineffecient production, ineffecient route to market, wrong market, wrong product, poor branding, wrong equipment, unutilised equipment, lack of working capital, problems with bad debt, lack of credit, bad pricing strategy, inability to satisfy key customers, expensive rent contract

Would all of the above not be mangements fault ?
Ballboys master touch is that he goes into a company asks the managment who are badly running the business to tell him who the unproductive staff are and his magic formula is tell that manager he nees to get rid of those unproductive staff.

That's the way it works right?? this imaginery business is dead easy!! I'm going out in the morning to buy myself 2 and 1/2 imaginery Helicopters and sure while I'm at it think I'll buy 3/4 of a Lear jet!!

And people claiming that Aer Lingus are hard on their staff? They'll be taking a €32million hit rather than persuing the staff who benefited from the tax break.

Heard wind of this a few weeks back, seems there was a breakdown in communications between the Dept of the Taoiseach and Revenue. Aer Lingus were told one thing during talks through National Implementation Body, and Revenue disagreed.

Thats the problem with unions - they think in the short term - I'm sure the unions in Waterford Crystal won manys a battle
There is only one winner here and its Ryanair - Aer lingus are paying their staff over a €100k a year plus the above
They pass this on to the consumer - Aer Lingus can't compete and in three years time Ryanair will have a 100% monoply and will charge what they like.
