Bullets sent to Celtic manager and player!

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

OK HS here's the facts as reported on the BBC:

Packages containing bullets have been intercepted at the Royal Mail sorting office in Mallusk, Belfast. The packages, posted in the North, were addressed to Neil Lennon and the young Celtic player, Niall McGinn from Co. Tyrone. They are believed to be from Loyalist elements. Thoughts?

As Chris Rock said
What the world needs is not gun control - its bullet control
If a bullet cost £10,000 there would be no drive by shootings and certainly people wouldn't go sticking them in envelopes.

Very naive and silly posting omar. I know Chris Rock said that but for Lenny and his family it has been no joke. Of course the usual HS Unionist/Rangers apologists will twist this and probably blame Lennon and Celtic.

Can't see where I blamed the intended victim. I know that Chris Rock meant it as a joke - I actually think its a very valid point
but don't let that get in the way of the twisted answers that you clearly wish to attract.

Very disappointing and distressing news. I'm sure it won't put McGinn off playing for N.I. however, the N.I. fans adore him and care little of his religious beliefs. I can't help but feel Lennon's behaviour in recent years is the reason he was targeted, perhaps if he had toned down the hatred a bit these neanderthals wouldn't have targeted him

Themaster that situation was resolved. Darren Graham went back playing hurling. Ulsterman you got your wish. Pomeroy blames Neil Lennons behaviour.

No players should ever be put under pressure off the football pitch, i honestly think there is more to this one than meets the eye.

842614 OK HS here's the facts as reported on the BBC:

Surely you would have more sense than to accept anything the BBC puts out as fact. The first B is a giveaway.

Celtic Rangers ...... yawn. Almost as tiresome as the clowns yesterday roaring and screaming at Man U and The Pool on television.

I've heard it all now. Perhaps you should let the authorities know that this whole thing is neil lennon's fault. New low pomeroy.

Well done Pomeroy, you've once again shown your true colours. For the record can you give us any examples of Neil Lennon 'toning up the hatred' or are you once again basing your nonsense of plain prejudice?

Like I said I totally condemn this. Of course there was also the incident recently when a referee received a death threat based directly on Lennon's comments. This was barely mentioned on here of course, it seems the Celtic brigade pick and choose when they find death threats disgusting, it all boils down to who gets them. So to summarise if you're going to go out of your way to offend others you can't be surprised if some idiots respond. While I feel deeply sorry for both McGinn and Lennon I can't help but feel Lennon is partly at fault for these events

The first part of that post was't posted, it merely mentioned how there are plenty of videos available that show Lennon in a less than favourable light
