Sorry Dell i meant that clubs can ask for the rule regarding under 16's playing adult to be relaxed. 77981301 (UK) - Posts: 79 - 19/12/2010 11:29:17 835253 Link 0 |
I would like to live in Dells world, where the sun shines all year round, Fermanagh win Ulster titles, and insurance companies pay out no questions asked. Dell, do you really believe that the club insurance policy is some magic catch-all that will cover every little injury suffered in connection with the club, from player injuries to supporters getting paper cuts on the match programme? Even though this flies in the face of everything we know about insurance companies? You seem to think that because you heard of some player in your club getting medical bills paid, that it is easy to get claims paid. With all due respect, both players in MY club that had to pay for their own operations would suggest differently. Steve (Fermanagh) - Posts: 293 - 19/12/2010 13:24:33 835287 Link 0 |

Dell your problem is that you cant stand it when others don't agree with you or see your way of thinking........You go all defensive when this happens. BallsMcQ (USA) - Posts: 941 - 19/12/2010 20:15:44 835444 Link 0 |

In my opinion Corduff would have a bit of a habit of suiting themselves when it comes to the rule book so I'm a little short of sympathy for them but in this case I think Swanlinbar should have let it go. The Sage (Monaghan) - Posts: 351 - 20/12/2010 10:51:33 835534 Link 0 |
Dell, good to hear you will be forwarding a motion to your club next year that will look for this stupid rule to be scrapped. I'm glad you are championing the cause given your remarkable defence of Corduff. The next time my club are up infront of the disciplinary meeting I must get you to come and defend us! EnolaGay This will be one motion i will be looking to be scrapped and the five year rule is another that clearly is not working . Dellboypolecat (Tyrone) - Posts: 15069 - 20/12/2010 15:59:56 835763 Link 0 |

If the player is underage Corduff would have lost the title with or without an objection from Swad as the Ulster Council were the first ones to become aware of the breach.. The only difference in Swad objecting is that they will be awarded the game if Corduff are stripped of the win. Inactive x5 (Cavan) - Posts: 1452 - 20/12/2010 18:31:33 835984 Link 0 |
it doesn't matter if swanlinbar withdraw their objection, Once the objection is put forward the ulster council has to deal with it, so swanlinbar will represent ulster if the player is deemed ineligible shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1948 - 20/12/2010 18:41:36 835998 Link 0 |
JonSmith Very foolish move indeed objection then removing it but the damage is done they have more and likelly got the winners in trouble , Dellboypolecat (Tyrone) - Posts: 15069 - 20/12/2010 18:58:30 836023 Link 0 |
But Dell the point I'm making is that this would have happened even if Swad had not lodged the objection. The Ulster Council were the ones who found the breach and informed Swad of it, they would have disciplined Corduff with or without an objection from Swad. The outcome for Corduff was always going to be forfeiting the game whether or not Swad took the opportunity to object. Inactive x5 (Cavan) - Posts: 1452 - 20/12/2010 19:21:45 836056 Link 0 |
