Better selection than 'official' all stars. Still not convinced Keenan deserved one ahead of MD McAuley. Oh ya, Coopers ommission is a disgrace, perhaps some jealousy by his fellow players, either way don't think he'll lose too much sleep.

the GPA teams of the year are a joke - they are both political (pro GPA players) and populist (pick the players people were giving about out who didn't make the all stars) at the same time

I said after the farcical all star teams that the GPA awards are the real team of the year awards now.

I think going forward I'm going to ignore the all stars and focus on the gpa awards only.

Interesting to see that of the 8 All-Ireland quarter finalists, none produced a midfielder in the GPA team. Seems like the players recognised two great midfielders regardless of their respective teams' not progressing to the latter stages of the Championship.

cop on dell and do some research before spouting rubbish.philly jordan and cooper were both nominated,two players who aren't part of the GPA,they could of been on the team if it was decided they were good enough.

Gooch's ommision was predictable, he hardly ever gets picked on this team unless he's had an absolutely sensational year and is almost Footballer of the Year. Not surprising seeing as he's not in the GPA ans he is advertising Lucozade Sport which is the main rival drink to the GPA's Club Energise.

haha you obviously didnt watch many dublin matches o carroll was at fault for 3 of meaths goals and the tipperary goal but yet he played better then phily who played a big role for dcu winning sigerson finished top scoring defender and had some great games in champo,also if dublin had such abad defence record for the season why did they concede the least scores in the league and on average after the meath game conceded very little even your mighty tyrone couldnt brake them down strange that
