Amalgamations, divisional sides etc should be banned. If clubs can't field then create 9-a-side or 11-a-side competition for them and let them play in it.
You don't hear of clubs joining forces in other sports.
Usually clubs join with the closest club to them which normally means they are massive rivals.
How can it mean anything to win playing with lads whose club you can't stand.
Any club who enters into an amalgamation is a disgrace.
My club never has and never will and we aren't a big club.
