great read....am just finishing second book too......

Fully agree, I read all three one after the other in a frenzy. Quite magnificent, its a real shame he passed away. Apparently there were more planned, there's a court case underway in Sweden to establish ownership of the prequel.

I have just finished another of John Connolly's novels " The Lovers". I love his writing style and see great similarities with Stephen King. perhaps someone could help me with a series of books I am interested in . They are the story of two Brothers in the German Army during world war 2 Kurt and Max Eckhardt. They were written by Kurt and are a warts and all story of their war. Max is an SS officer and Kurt a Panzer captain, There are 4 books in total but I have only been able to find two Stalingrad Heroes and Achtung Normandy. The 2 I can not find are Heroes without Honour and Heroes of Cassino

Che, currently reading the same book (althogh I think its called Where are you really from) following a recommendation from my father, so far I find it to be very interesting and would definitely recommend it.
An author I really enjoy is Colin Bateman, his books are light hearted and have the ability to leave you wanting more everytime you pick one up!
