right PP, what was the sermon about?? Where did you sit?? what priest did the mass??

Seriously though, I just think its interesting that you're afraid to suggest a name change for your club eventhough that's your political belief. Obviously no one in your community shares your convictions and so your driven to the internet, the last great preserve of the anonymous intellectual.

Hurlingspuds, I'm not sure if both of these words are apt for Mr PP.

You're persevering with this here aren't you, like a dog with a bone. For what it's worth I don't particularly care about the name, I just enjoy playing football for my club with fella's I've known since I was 2. Simple as that really

I have certainly lost interest in this stupid debate about whether PP comes from Pomeroy or not. Sure maybe I dont come from Derry.

Indeed BadMonkey, it's flattering in a way that so many people hang off my every word. You know yourself how it is, if you dare stray from the party line you're labelled as a Wum or being fake. Says more about them than it does about us

This thread is a waste of webspace, what could have been a decent debate has turned into whether or not PomeroyPlunkett is indeed from Pomeroy. It begs the question...who gives a fiddlers?

Seemingly it's all Seanie, Goodfella and Hurlin can think about. You know you're destroying someone in a debate when they resort to questioning where you're from, as if that's in any way relevant

Obvious bias from admin here for some reason. I have had maybe 7 messages rejected.

Just to be clear: I NEVER QUESTIONED WHERE YOU WERE FROM PP. I REALLY DON'T CARE.

Ha Ha you two are some craic!! It is very pertinent where somebody is from if they claim to represent a club and have been rejected by other members from that club.I personally couldn't care less to be honest.I just like to call a "spade a spade".Its entirely feasible that certain posters are using multiple usernames just to be controversial and annoying. With some of the material that gets posted on here you would have to seriously question that its coming from people who are from a gaa background, that they are Irish,or that they even exist at all.Not that any of the preceding are pre-requistes to posting on here, except maybe for having to exist.

I looked into this as well. I went up on a bit of an investigation. I went around questioning the locals if they knew Pemeroy Punkett that posts on hoganstand. They knew of one who emigrated to Boston in the 1920's, but were unsure whether it was the man in question.

Best post on this thread. ha!
As for for bad monkey, maybe you should read the thread again my friend, I actually make a point of saying i don't know/care where PP is from. I love that you keep up the anti rtepublican stereotype though, thanks for that.
