The Rapparees are much better than both these bands ;)

Well they are certainly better musicians, and the 2nd best trad/folk outfit in the Antrim Town area. Even Kevin will tell you we are a lot better....well, he better tell you that.

797365 How many UEFA fans awards have the Wolfe Tones won?

Try to keep to the subject in hand.

Didn't they once win the Fair Play award.............................Fair Play to them for getting away with it so long!

Love it.

I am sure the Wolfe Tones are not losing too much sleep at the West Brits and Unionists who dominate the Irish media and the sour bakes on HS. They are laughing all the way to the bank and good luck to them.

That was the whole point Ulsterman.

They didn't lose much sleep over Billy Reid, the Hunger Strikers or anyone else in Northern Ireland as they classified it.

Instead, they were laughing all the way to the bank.........and then the ceasefire decommissioned them.

Ceasefire??? I thought the war was over, it better be as they have given up all their weapons. The ICA probably has more firepower at this point in time

Not strictly true Patrique and a bit unfair. I watched them at the Ardoyne Fleadh in the early 90's and they did play some gigs in the North during the 80's. To be fair to them as well after what happened to the Miami Showband they did have to be very wary about the 6 counties. I like them and make no apologies for it.

Every Sunday, although I am away next week.

We are still multi talented, ambient, great musicians and raconteurs, and modest with it.

Correct, if you count Randalstown and Antrim Town as part of North Belfast.

Obviously didn't teach them English or even religion about doubting Thomas.

I have given yo7ubaccess to their OWN web site. Two from Randalstown, one from Antrim, pone from Jordanstown and ONE from Belfast.

Loads of people from Randalstown and Antrim go to school in St Malachy's, Little Flower and Fortwilliam simply because of limited choice around here.

Two of them are from North Belfast FACT. I dont care where they live now be it Jordanstown or Beiruit but they are from North Belfast. So to say a band is solely from the Antrim Town area, when 40% of the band aren't, and 100% of them don't live there would be incorrect. So BASICALLY you're wronf, AGAIN.
