Premiership first fifteen Gaelic Football team

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

If the premiership were to have their own GAA team, who would you have on it?

GK Shay Given (Man City)

CB Michael Essien (Chelsea)
FB Vidic (Man Utd)
CB John Terry (Chelsea)
WHB Van Der Vaart (Spurs)
CHB Nigel De Jong (Man City)
WHB Remires (Chelsea)

MF Yaya Toure (Man City)
MF Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)

WHF Nicholas Anelka (Chelsea)
CHF Cesc Fanbregas (Arsenal)
WHF Robin Van Persie (Arsenal)
CF Wayne Rooney (Man Utd)
FF Peter Crouch (Spurs)
CF Fernando Torres (Liverpool)

Id say this wee team would fair out pretty well in the GAA Championship!

Think he could be talkin about the Wolves hatchet man.
Fabregas a gaelic centre forward? you are having a laugh....
As for the rest , it would be like the floor exercises in the olympic gymnastics ,there would be that much rolling around going on

The only one that would make it would be Shea Given he'd know what to expect. Heaven help the rest of them they wouldnt last 10 seconds let alone 10 minutes. A 50/50 ball with Graham Canty, a shoulder from tomas o shea, a big high 50/50 ball to Joe Sherdian/ Donnaghy, the lighting presence of Galvin, Copper, Bernard Brogan. Enough said.
