Its competitive yes but its also very, very parochial, hence the extra needle. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 28/09/2010 21:14:27 786328 Link 0 |

Of course when all the teams in the competition are of the same level with no outstanding team its going to be Competitive but tyrone clubs are of a poor standard and hence all the mauls during and after championship matches in the county newryview (Down) - Posts: 748 - 29/09/2010 08:14:35 786386 Link 0 |

The Tyrone Club Championship is extremely competitive, but as some have already pointed out, it is fuelled by local derbies and the overall quality in comparison to other counties would have to be questioned EnolaGay (Tyrone) - Posts: 653 - 29/09/2010 10:18:22 786450 Link 0 |
I have followed club football in many counties can there can be little doubt that Tyrone is very competitive at all levels - although competitive does not always mean best, cuchulainn35 (Armagh) - Posts: 1689 - 29/09/2010 10:26:40 786460 Link 0 |
Cannot say whether Derry is a more competitive championship but they have produced 6 different winners of the Ulster Senior Club championship more than any Ulster county irlande (Fermanagh) - Posts: 535 - 29/09/2010 10:27:31 786464 Link 0 |
it is probably no different than any other counties championchip! ud swear a GAA man is not fit to clean the boots of a Tyrone man with the hype that sorrounds them! I believe they have 3 all-irelands to their name! hardly a county to be in constant awe of! they have done well in last decade but any counties championchip is fierce and compeditive. That Pomeroy team was one of the best to come out of Tyrone in centuries. Intermediate champions but if they had been a senior team they would have walked the Senior Championship as well pplocal (Tyrone) - Posts: 5878 - 29/09/2010 15:13:10 786737 Link 0 |

One thing about Tyrone is the spread of talent. You will not get the Cavan Gaels, Crossmaglen, St Galls, Ballinderry, domination in this county. Byanthon (Tyrone) - Posts: 1792 - 30/09/2010 21:29:29 787994 Link 0 |
