Ladies Football is not bad at all. Last year Dublin were very unlucky not to beat Cork. Tyrone did so this year but the Cork team were weakened with a few of the top players taking a break from the game. All in all if Dublin are much the same quality as last year it could make for a very enjoyable evenly matched game. Best of luck to all 6 teams next Sunday.

Should be a good game but i fancy Dublin. I watched both teams this year and think Dublins experience of losing last year will get them over the line.

Dublin fans urged to support Jackies

Dublin's Bernard Brogan
23 September 2010

Dublin football manager Pat Gilroy and star forward Bernard Brogan have called on Dublin fans to support the county's ladies team in Sunday's TG4 All-Ireland senior decider against Tyrone.

Tyrone have sold three times as many tickets as Dublin so far for the Croke Park showdown, but Dublin ladies officials are hoping there will be a late surge of interest from GAA fans in the capital.

In calling on all Dublin supporters to get out and support the Jackies, Pat Gilroy said: "I hope Dublin fans come out en masse to support the ladies team who have done so well to make their second final in-a-row.

"It would be great if they made the big breakthrough to win their first ever All-Ireland title but they need the support of all those involved in GAA in the county so please get out there and head to Croke Park for the big game."

Bernard Brogan commented: "To all the true Dublin GAA fans out there, we all know how close the Dublin ladies football team came last year to making the big breakthrough. Having a big Dublin support there would really lift the team. The girls are flying this year and really showed their class to get this far again. So let's get behind them and hopefully watch them make history."

Get out and support the ladies... I'll be there!

Sean Cavanagh has called on Tyrone fans to travel to Croke Park in large numbers on Sunday to support the ladies football team's bid for an historic All-Ireland senior title.

The former Footballer of the Year said: "It would be great if Tyrone fans travelled in big numbers to support the senior ladies team. The Tyrone ladies have been absolutely brilliant this year and it is a remarkable achievement to get to the final and take on the Dubs.

"The Tyrone girls have a chance of making history but they need our support. I am calling on all true Tyrone GAA followers to make the trip and cheer on the team. It would be a huge boost to the county to bring home the Brendan Martin Cup to Tyrone
