Pope Benedict's visit to the UK.

Patrique, I might not be the best practising one about but I am indeed a Catholic.

But I see where you are coming from.

Now big Ian reckons that Catholic people have asked him to protest at the Pope's UK visit.... I find that hard to believe

He did used to get a fair few votes in the Glens of Antrim, because despite all his shouting and such, if you ever needed any thing done, and you were Catholic, no better man to go to..........

A Papal blessig be bestowed on you, be you Catholic, Muslim, Hindu or Jew. Benedicts here to celebrate mass, on the slopes of Bellahouston grass. He'll bless you with his mighty hand, those in Glasgow and across the land, be in God's shadow to feel the light and bow your head to feel his might. Protestors they may come and go, Paisley and Glass with their bigots on tow, be happy knowing when they've had their fill, that the scottish prods are footing the bill. Vatican flags are flying high, all across the Govan sky, the father's here, he's here to pray, no matter what the animals say. So repent your sins and bow your head, respect the wisdom he has read. Hear him say " Now tell me son, have you ever seen a handsome Hun?"

Hail Hail

And Martin McGuinness didn't go either.

Must be sectarian reasons.

Hang on, is the Pope a catholic?

Executive sources said the two politicians would have had practical difficulties travelling to Scotland and returning in time for a significant economic announcement in Northern Ireland on Thursday afternoon

That's brilliant.

Still laughing.

"Martin McGuinness couldn't meet the Pope because he had work to do".

Didn't stop him meeting ME last April.
