Brolly, ill think you will find Tyrone and Armagh people might disagree with your statement, so it's hardly all Ulster!

When it comes to the GAA I always support Ulster against the rest of the country. Normally I despise the distinction (in political terms ) of Ulstermen being in some way isolated from the rest of Ireland , but when it comes to Gaelic games it really does feel like us agin them.

770563 sure everyone in ulster is sick of looking at Tyrone and Armagh win the anglo celt, never mind the all ireland. Ulster needs new champs for the good of the game

Do you speak on behalf of all of the people in Ulster?

How can i speak for all of ulster, and of course Armagh & Tyrone wont agree dont ask silly questions! What i am implying is Ulster football likes to give the impression to the rest of ireland that we have the most competitive province out of all four, but we have had two teams who have had a stangle hold on the anglo celt since 1999 which shows that ulster realistically is not competitive, we all look down our noses at the Munster championship with Kerry & Cork who dominate year in year out but are we any different? Ulster needs a breakthrough and i hope Down lead it by wining next sunday, Down kick started a revolution in the 1990's that led to 6 different ulster champions in that decade now that is what you call a competitive championship!

Silly thread. While I am heartened to see the majority of Ulster Gaels will be supporting the mourne men I can assure you that Down and Cork could not care less about the level of 'support' they have outside their counties. It is the same with any county in an AI final as I am sure Tyrone and Kerry fans can testify, now more importantly does anyone have 2 spare tickets for the middle of the Hogan?

Good man blu. Haven't got a ticket but if I do get one either through the club draw or get offered one elsewhere I'll get your details and you can have it as I can't make it to Dublin on the day. You have my word.
