Cruel B****

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

This reminds of a barbaric act of cruelty performed by one member of household.

A few months ago, I was absolutely sickened when I saw him kill a family of 5 swallows within an hour.

The birds were caught and then tossed indiscriminately around the garden, some wingless, some decapitated, all dead!

To me, there was no purpose to kill them, the birds were completely harmless. And the way the perpetrator appeared to take a sadistic joy at wiping out a family of birds was slightly disturbing.

Fortunately though, McNutty was soon incarcerated for a few days to avoid anymore needless bird deaths

TA 32, what would you define as cruelty to animals? Is just the killing of them cruel? Is it not cruel to test cosmetic products on animals? Do you agree with that? Do you boycott shampoo because there is cruelty of animals involved in the production of most cosmetic products?

Saying she should suffer the death penalty is a tad excessive. I would not agree with the death penalty in any case, but for a teenage girl? I wouldnt say she is mentally disabled, some of us just have a mean streak especially in a position of absolute power. She should be named and shamed and whatever else after that but thats it.

i thought maybe u could try a little bit better than that concerning animal cruelty .
but getting back to the subject without sarcasm , i personally would not dream of advocating cruelty to animal in my county , our anywere for that matter , i am sure u would be against it yoursel joseff u would yes ?

all i am saying pat , look at the video were she is taking great pleasure in killing them pups , my wife buys out of bodyshop by the way shampoo and all.?
as for animal experiments on health advances in medician i believe there is a great deal of debate , would u agree on testing animals if a loved one needed life saving treatment and this procedure might bring about a cure or remedy that would stall suffering , i myself have r.a arthritis and have received anti- t.n.f. treatments which more than likely they were animal testing involved to bring this into circulation , do i agree with that , well i am at conflict with it , but because of this it has giving a better quality of life , now the main point of my argument was that it the nature and sheer pleasure this person was taking in killing these young pups , that whats most disturbing about this case , i hope i have been clearer pat .

TA 32, my policy on killing animals is they should be killed only when needs be. People probably wont lioke me saying this but animals are resources just like everything else in our world. We should use them to better our lives so in that case i would certainly agree with you.

When I see people carrying out evil, sadistic acts such as this, I rue the day we abolished capital punishment.

First time in ages logging onto the non-GAA forum.

Tell me was there anything done about that girl throwing the pups into the river? To be honest, despite being a gron man I feel a bit sick having watched that. I've got 3 young pups myself, but they're well cared for, fed, watered each day & have good living conditions. Why be so cruel?

I don't understand.

Just to add another 2c to the debate, I am not a fan of blood sports, however I have killed rats by digging out their nest with the help of 2 Jack Russels. My aim was to eradicate the rat problem as quickly as possible without any undue suffering. So I do not claim to be two-faced in this debate. However my residence was over-run by rats at the time. The problem has been somewhat fixed as a recently moved in neighbour keeps 6 cats so nature has taken it's course & I no longer have rat problems.

The problem with the girl in this video is she has no regard for the suffering of the animals. She has not taken into consideration how they will be hurt on impact, or how long it will take their lungs to fill with water.

Not like the Tyronies to dish it out against one of their own. Maybe it's a sign of things to come !

Williewentwell,

Years ago i had a Border Collie and loved that dog !! He came everywhere with me and even sat on the line when i was playing football, also sat outside the school waiting for me. He was 15 years old when he disappeared and my father told me many years later that he had eaten some poison that someone left out for some reason. He buried him and didn't have the heart to tell me then. I missed him for ages and i know how your daughters will feel. Get them a pup asap, it will take them awhile to warm to it but they eventually will. Sorry again !!

Indeed it does make you wonder willie, and thats the most important question arising form this. 10 years in a hard labour camp, followed by a public flogging should set her straight. She'll think twice about breaking the law after that.
