761285 86 against Kerry complete collapse in the second half 95 final against Dublin thought we earned a replay 96 the hardest one off all against Meath Painful indeed for the plays it should have been held in the Colosseum in Rome than Croker much better for Blood sports.

haha good one that remains one of my sweetest victories

Maybe Meath did us a favour way back then, Tyrone teams don't lose finals any more especially All Ireland finals .

1996 - 35 seconds left, mayo a point up. colm coyle kicks a hit and hope from midfield. heartbreak, and a game i dont think we have got over since, or will until we win an all ireland.

1997 - probably worse than 96 in my opinion. we had a great team which was beat by the worst kerry team ever. a one man show. why kenny mort wasant switched onto fitz that day il never know.

2004 - beat out the gate.

2006 - see above. nothing worse than seeing your county being taken apart on final day. the humiliation.

2010 - getting knocked out by longford. now at our lowest since the 70's.

the above are only senior of course. i could write a book on all our heartbreaking defeats.

I live near the Tyrone/Derry border so as you can imagine the slagging goes on for weeks and weeks after the game.Believe me it's not nice to be on the wrong side of it!

Fro me it has to be being beaten by the worst team to win an All Ireland in a long long time cork in 99. 2 poor teams to be honest! It wasn't just losing to Cork but the manner of the defeat, terrible game and to be beaten by a single point… horrible!

* The drawn game against Kerry in 2001. Trailing by 8 with about 12mins to go we somehow managed to go into injury time leading by one only to be drawn level by probably the greatest point I have ever seen by Maurice Fitzgerald. We even had a chance to win it with the last kick of the game, a 45.

* Was absolutely gutted with the loss to Antrim this year in the Hurling qualifier.

* And last but not least. Probably the worst I ever felt was the loss this year to Cork. This is the first time I have posted on hoganstand since.
