everybody says kk is the best team of ALL time maybe?.... but as christy ring said you can compare the past with the present other teams have won 4 in a row and won them when the championship was more competitive .. if tipp had / should have won last year barring shocking ref calls it would have been a 3 in a row so maybe people need to calm down and realize yea the kk team is v good but the competition for the most part are in transition and their greatest rivals of all time have been on srike while they clocked up wins . perspective people please stop getting dragged into the media whirlwind booboo (Cork) - Posts: 1382 - 18/08/2010 19:02:18 749828 Link 0 |

I thought wildpundit was a fair and genuine poster, after reading his last post I dont think so,such a load of rubbish,as I was reading it I thought it was thurlesblouse,as for booboo he sounds like a bitter man,the strikes again, there was enough debates about that so I am not going to drag it up again,as for other teams doing 4 in a row, only 111 team did it,your own,but the competion wasnt stonger then, you didnt play Tipp in 1 Munster championship, like some other posters said, why cant we have genuine hurling debates here, mooncat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 543 - 18/08/2010 19:25:19 749847 Link 0 |

booboo I suppose like all fans from all counties I am biased in favour of KK but I respect and admire teams and players from other counties, what I dont like is posters coming on here and running down my county and saying there are bullys and shouldnt have won the four in a row,you say the opposition was stronger when other teams did the four in a row,I will tell you again only ONE team did the 4 in arow in hurling, and in1941 there was an outbreak of foot and mouth disease, the Munster Council decided that Cork and Limerick should contest the Munster Final despite the fact that Tipperary had qualified for the Munster Final,Cork won and played Dublin in the final because KK were not allowed play in the Leinster championship, stronger opposition? I dont think so mooncat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 543 - 18/08/2010 20:07:28 749895 Link 0 |

Kilkenny to win by 3 to 5 points i feel, despite what anyone says there has not been a team comparable to this Kilkenny team ever. To maintain their standard and keep their effort up in these topsy turvy modern times is immense and makes it unfair to compare them to teams of the past as those teams of the past, with all due respect to them, lived in different times with different lifestyles. Oh and by the way Kilkenny won the All Ireland last year because they were the better team, no more of this referee/dodgy decision nonsense.
