From Roscommon and proud of it Pericles! Once a rossie always a rossies and would ya not recognise our bit of success we only have 20 connacht titles compared to yer 42 or whatever! And I would say being from Mayo is a tougher sentence..so much hope that always leads to heartbreak!

I was genuinely pleased for ye Rossie... few in Mayo (outside of the frontier areas) got much pleasure out of watching ye struggle over the last couple of years. With all the underage talent coming out of all corners of Connacht over the last half a dozen years there really is no excuse for standards being low, so hopefully this title win will bring ye on and Galway and Mayo will respond... Sligo are still a decent side - the Down result was a real aberration. Next year it'll be a decade since Connacht's last A-I win, so we'll need to pull something out of the hat, especially if a Leinster side wins it this year.

Good to hear pericles...I always thought there was a few decent mayo supportors! Well hopefully all our underage sucess will bring us on. However I would were a few years off an All-Ireland whatever about yourselves!
