There up there with Cork and Kilkenny and Galway and the Wexfords of the 50s and 60s with Nicky Rackard

How would Galway be up there? did they win a few all irelands then? Tipp team of 60s are renowned for being the greatest of all time ,this Kilkenny team are nearly equal to them but not just yet we have to wait till next month to find that out. But dont get your hopes up!!

the greatest forward of all time Moody and I know the man well even worked with him for a while as a kid and he used to mend my sliothars when they ripped!

Ah come on thurlesblues, change the record. The most ardent Tipp fan would not agree with you. You say you are 47 right, how then can you speak about the Tipp side of the 60's with such assurance? If you're 47, you were born around 1963, so how can you remember anything prior to 1967, AFTER the peak of that Tipp team's powers.
