The trouble with having a famous 'end' like Hill 16 or the Kop at Liverpool is that there is a tendancy ( especially by the media & authorities) to forget that the other 3 stands in the stadium even exist!!

I do find it irritating when commentators say ' those fans on the Hill or the kop are really getting behind their team' or ' those fans will on the Hill or Kop' will be so happy\sad\disappointed etc etc.... Like they are the only fans in the stadium who matter or care!. What about those fans in the other 3 stands ?

Also, there is no real evidence that fans invading the pitch ( whether it be dublin fans or not) are any more likely to encroach from the Hill than any part of the stadium. ss i said before those Louth fans who wheebled\wobbled in front of the ref came from the canal, cusack & hogan areas ( from what i saw )

Well if they were born Dubs and then moved to Cavan they'd still be Dubs rather than culchies.

Same as when culchies move to Dublin they're still culchies.

Oh I see, so were just stoopid on our own

Aw well at least we will get to observe the Dub in their natural habitat if we ever get to Croker by looking into the caged area.
(or am I confusing that with the Joy??)

There is nothin' wrong with being a Culchie!

From my experience's of the hill there is always kids at the bottom, and if drunken fools can't get on the field they will be pushing them against this fence. Its flipin' ridiculous.
I also don't understand why everyone is blaming Louth. Some behaved horribly but its the stewards fault for not getting the ref off the field on time. Croke Park handled the situation wrong, and now they are using Louth as a scapegoat.

I mentioned nothing about stupidity. I use the term culchie geographically and without malice!

I hope those Louth fans responsible for the cowardly attack on the ref are happy with their actions. It won't affect them of course as they'll never win anything so will have no reason to go on the pitch but as a Tyrone man it will lessen the enjoyment of the All-Ireland wins in coming years

Well now PP if it's Louth supporters that are to blame for the erection of fencing in Croke Park then HQ must be expecting us back sooner than you think. Why else would they be in such a big hurry to get the fencing up if it's only Louth supporters HQ are worried about.

Your friend Sludden reminded me so much of an auld English judge passing down the death sentence on an Irish man/woman for something that they didn't do. He was cold hearted and ruthless in his actions. He displayed no compassion towards the Louth players as he put his pencil to paper and wrongfully snuffed out the Leinster that was theirs. 53 years is a long time to go without winning a Leinster SFC title and then for that to happen.

I've yet to here him apologize for what he done to Louth.

Shame on him and I for one hope I never again see him on the field of play.
