yours in resistance ta32.
Walter Mitty syndrome is named after James Thurber, who was partially blinded by a childhood accident - his brother William shot an arrow at him. When he was unable to participate in games and sports with other children, he developed a rich fantasy life, which found its outlet in his writings.
It is generally considered to affect mild-mannered, affable people who resort to obsessive fantasizing.

First of all I would like to apologise for the delay in replying, I was away on cruical union business all evening.
Anyway, there are a number of issues for me here. I shall try cover then all with this post. If not will see to them tomorow.
-Someone has mentioned a "minister for agriculture". Again what union would need such a position. I think some people are making a political football out of this. I therefore use my power as president to banish Maigh-Eo from union meetings.
-Breadtheredhand has questioned the role of northern officer. This is a key role, as we know all you nordies like to stick together. Partique was IMO the most capable poster of representing the views of our Northern friends within the union. We know partique has great respect for ALL Ulster counties.
-LeBlus, i have a feeling you may be of French origion. Therefore, you will be assigned the role of Cheating expert. The role is to be shared with another poster of your choice. I suggest you pick someone from the county of Meath.
-Ta am delighted to have you on board. Have heard nothing from omar since, so I take it all went well.
On a seperate issue, the union executive is becoming quite bloated with many new positions being established. We need to act tomorrowon out main objective at the minute. Of getting RLF back in action.
Sleep well men. It may be your last !!!

Joseff,
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for banishing me from the union.
By doing so you have created an aura around me. I am now seen as the dangerous outsider, the lovable rogue, the rebel if you will.
Trouble is Joseff that these Rebels seem to have a habit of coming back into prominence at some stage usually when some tyrannical ruler is loathed by their once adoring public.
Until that day I wish you all the best in trying to keep control of this angry mob of people.

P.S. There's always room for a Minister for Agriculture, One day once you have a similar level of intelligence and experience as I have you will realise that.

I think you have created your own aura around yourself Maigh-Eo, that being one of foolishness.
If we are to go anyway as a Union, we need successfull people on board. Think history will shown this means that we would be better afforded to distance ourselves from Mayo people.
Enjoy life in the wilderness my friend, and watch your back Ta32 will be keeping an eye on you !

No you're quite correct, I didn't have the time nor the inclination to read through four pages of kid talk. I do think it's good for youngsters to get involved in Politics so I hope you all have fun on this thread. Any questions or queries feel free to ask the adults on the site, I'd be more than happy to pass on my knowledge

I take back what i said abou't your slow dog. ________________ Apology may be premature Always thought the term of endearment was "big Man" same as in Scotland- unless you are less than 5 foot tall in which case "wee man" is used.
His post said Wee man is that it ? - The level of insult might depend on the gender of the speaker- If the Phrase was used by a female -it generally would not be meant as compliment to the counter party.

Adults? On this site? I gathered it was started up as a bit of a giggle, but as usual it was infiltrated by people with a different agenda.

Alright PP, we will be better of without you.
The position of chief negotiator is now vacant ? Would anyone be interested? Dhorse perhaps?
Anyway, we are doing little to get RLF back on board. Therefore I will start a thread in my own time calling for him to be brought back. I invite all members to contribute to this thread.
