Chief of defence in the sense that no matter what any members of the union say i will vigoursly back them up even if i dont agree with what there saying and shout down the opposition like any goverment T.D does! If there is a union why should it need a Whip - its mandate should be decided by a fair and unpressured ballot of all members.

Ok, it seems there is wide-spread support for RLF to be re-allowed back on the forum.
Although I oppose this myself, I as president am bound to cater for the needs of the wider Hoganstand community.
Therefore, I will make the reinstatement of RLF as union priority and our main objective.

Although someone suggested I might know him, I can assure you I don't. He didn't attend GAA games so it is unlikely many would know him.
Does anyone have a connection to the guy? what else do we know about him?

My Drastic Action chief (bad.monkey) where are you? we need to take action here and now to get RLF back. What can we do?

In a related issue, I don't see why RLF's account was blocked. He was after making a huge contribition to the site.
This was also true of my previous user-name.
Therefore, I purpose that once a poster has 500 posts, they can't be blocked from the site.
Clearly if they made 500 posts they aren't that bad a person. We all have our moments but hre should be no need to ban any long term users.

YewThree, the reason for the lack of westerners is because of the poor transport routes out of the west.
We can't be having meetings and the westerners turning up late because they couldn't find a road going anywhere but to cattle marts.

Dell, my reasons for appointing PP to this role was based on the following.
I thought that PP would be that annoying for anyone to negotiate with, that they would just agree with him for the easy way out.
That meaning that we would get our way easilly.

I stick by this, unless you've a better suggestion for the chief negotiators role?

Ha is your cabinet not relative to posts? . I propose that post count be removed from the site. All it does is certain peoples ego's. It also masks the quality of the poster, just because you have 1000+ posts doesnt make your opinion the most correct one.

If, as I presume, we are an all island union then I must question the need to have a 'Northern Officer'. Why not a provincial officer, one for each province in which case I nominate Ulsterman for the position as he always has the best interests of his beloved Ulster at heart.
