I was thinking along them lines myself. They would probely say its too much effort and too time-consuming.
But i often wonder who certain posts were not allowed up.

In relation to PatMcGee proposing Dell as president, as of yet Dell hasnt accepted his position as foreign envoy.
My thinking was that Dell should full-fill this key role. We could then send him on a one way ticket out foreign (Pakistan preferably at the minute) to drum up support for the union and spread the news.

However, if Dell accepts his union position and wishes to run for President. I would hold a union members vote on the matter, to elect Dell or myself within time.

Wheather he's foreign or not, I think we are all agreed on sending him out Foreign.

Poor aul Omar is mad to see an election. However, with none of the exectuive challanging me for President, I see no need for an election as of yet.

HA am sorry to see you depart Snuffy. However, i would have doubts about wise-guy as secretary. He will be appointed for a one week trial. If he is judged by myself as not being up to scratch we may have to head-hunt for a new secretary. Best of luck wise-guy.

P-mus i never heard of a union appointing a minister of defence before. Is that how unions are run in Cavan?
I feel you could look after expenses maybe. Then again allowing a Cavan man responsibility with money?

The union is glad to listen to your concerns corkcelt. However, I would not support getting Real Louth Fan back on the forum as I clashed with him/her on many occasions under a previous username of mine which was blocked.
Real Louth Fan added very little IMO and has little to offer. Having said that, if support were to grow for RLF to be allowed back, I would have to then make it union policy to try get RLF back.

I support your idea about each county having a local secretary. Therefore, I appoing CorkCelt to the executive as Regional Officer.
-It will be your role to appoint these Local Secretarys for each county.
-Please note the Local secretary can't be an exectuive member.
