I here by establish the Hoganstand Posters Union.

The Union is a response to a number of growing concerns regarding the forum mentioned by various users. I feel that by acting together we will finally be able to have a bit more sway in the decision making process of this site.

I have a number of ideas to make this site better for all, which I will post later.

However, before all that we need to establish the top-table.

-I declare myself as founding member to be Union President. I would like to purpose the following executive.

All suggestions regarding union policy or issues with the site may be raised here by any users. All users have the right to vote on matters, should a vote situation arise.

bad.money I will award you the position of "Drastic Action Chief"

However, a strike is uncalled for yet.
I have come up with a number of ways in which we may protest. These include.

1. Late postings. This is a method where we all post long messages at say 21.59, a minute before closing. This would require the admins to read through a huge volume of comments before closing. Therefore being a grave inconvience to them.

2. With-draw from national pages. This involves members just posting on the county pages and leaving the main forums blank.

There are other methods, which I will not reveal yet.

bad.money as Drastic Action Chief it is your role to come up with other methods of protest.

Wise_guy at the minute you do not hold an exectuive position.
However, you are free to contribute ideas and vote on union policy.
If you are proved to be a usefull union member, you may be awarded an exectuive position at a later date.

A few ideas to improve the site

1. Private messaging between posters. This would be usefull in situations where a poster is looking to organise challange matches for a club, people are organising fundraising events, etc.

2. Like button. Many quality posts go unnoticed. This would allow users show appreciation for a quality comment in a descrete manner.

3. Quote button. Allowing people quickly quote postings by other users before replying.

4. Post count. Only messages which are displayed should be included in your post count. I believe at present blocked posts are still included in the count.

Please feel free to post other ideas or debate the ones suggested already.

I wish to appoint someone to the position of "Chief Whip"
-This person would be responsible for internat disipline and deal with rebellions etc.
-The person should have excellent agrumentive skills, be firm in actions and have plenty of ways to silence these mavericks.

Management will only engage with Democratically elected poster representatives
Management will advise that any Posters engaging in activity with a non recognised union during working hours may be subject to sanctions (up to and including dismissal)
Management have instructed security to preclude access to the premises to all persons engaged in illegal union activity
Management have advised Fianance that the payroll system will not be allowed to faciliate collection of union subscriptions
Management have issued a communication to all posters that it feels that this union is self appointed for self serving objectives
Management refer to previously agreed pay increments and additional leave entitlements and advise that these benefits are frozen until position of union is clarified.

Managment would like to confirm that each of the five leading employee law firms, the top five recognised employment law consultants and a number of covert operation and security consultancy organisations are payed an annual retainer - This annual retainer percludes them from accepting any instruction or entering into any contract for services with any organisation which in managements opinion presents a risk of conflicting interests.
