I've never seen cork written off for a game like this one. We always raise our game for the cats. If the forwards get into gear at all then we have a chance. We need to score at least 3 goals though and I just don't know where they'll come from. Paudie o'sullivan is well worth a start and maybe one of the big lads could get some change out of noel hickey but i won't hold my breath. hurlinspuds (Cork) - Posts: 1494 - 04/08/2010 11:31:46 735232 Link 0 |

Be surprised if Cork win, but don't think Kilkenny are the force they were 2 years ago. Just two games to win the championship though, I'd put money on them. abhainn (Galway) - Posts: 1000 - 04/08/2010 12:01:45 735328 Link 0 |

Really think it could be a Cork V Waterford final lads. slayer (Limerick) - Posts: 6548 - 04/08/2010 12:06:54 735345 Link 0 |
There's no stopping Kilkenny, like the football, a shake-up would be good for the game. A Waterford - Galway final would've been the biggest breath of fresh air hurling could've gotten. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9165 - 04/08/2010 12:07:30 735347 Link 0 |
legendzxix in what century do you expect to see a Galway Waterford hurling final all hurling finals since 1999 have been won by Cork Tipp and Kilkenny. thurlesblues (Tipperary) - Posts: 4475 - 04/08/2010 12:11:20 735361 Link 0 |
Slayer we bring tin foil cos it costs us a fortune with all the games we have to go to and by the way strikes dont work Wwaterford proved that to Cork in the Munster final. thurlesblues (Tipperary) - Posts: 4475 - 04/08/2010 12:12:50 735366 Link 0 |

I wouldn't think much of the food in Croker, when you land in Dublin, there's a good place called O'Shea's to go for breakfast. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9165 - 04/08/2010 12:27:55 735399 Link 0 |

This is my 3rd year in a row that i backed Kilkenny before a hurl was swung and i'm very confident i will collect again in September. This is the greatest team of all time and they will dismantle Cork. And another point, Sean Og, Donal Og and Gardiner are great players but to say the crave media attention would be an understatement. That is the reason a lot of people don't like them. jonny1951 (Mayo) - Posts: 1431 - 04/08/2010 12:37:16 735414 Link 0 |
It is all about senior really. Minor and U21 success is good and reflects well on a county but it is all about getting a team for the senior grade to win the All-Ireland. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9165 - 04/08/2010 12:39:49 735417 Link 0 |
I'm looking forward to 2 games that I imagine will be hugely competitive. I've never been a massive Cork fan (why would I be) but I would always be weary that they can produce a massive game way beyond what many believe capable. I wouldn't be one like Thurlesblues who thinks that history plays a big part in games. I'd not go further back than the league game this year where they were the better team and beat us by 2. It will have stung us to be beaten at any stage by Cork, still the arch enemy as Tipp haven't had the team to challenge year in, year out in the last 10 years. Cork will beat the pussy cats. By about 5 points. Sean og with a monster point early in the 2nd half. Kilkenny will be lucky to finish with 10 men with their playing over the edge. PROC_Hurler (Cork) - Posts: 203 - 04/08/2010 13:58:33 735622 Link 0 |
