796468 Billy Connolly in his prime. Story about the Last Supper is brilliant. Not mad about him recently. I think hanging around with Prince Charles went to his head! There's an Irish chap who plays a little keyboard and sings a song about text messages. Can't remember his name but he's good and he made an eijit out of that tool Russel Brand when he was on his show a couple of years ago.

David O'Doherty "You sent the text to the person the text was about" hahaha

i think the best comedians are when tyrone lads try to tell you that winning 3 all ireland in 10 years is better than kerry winning 4- it is genuinely one of the best laughs you would ever have- they actually believe it or cant count- very funny indeed

Ah, you've put me off Stewart Lee now.

I somehow doubt that satire would be your forte anyway.

Happy to be of service.

Frankie Boyle and Patrique would be two of the better ones.

Someone else who knows me?

Given the Arboe address I suspect you saw me at Madden's Comedy Club in Antrim in the 1990s. Unless it was at the Empire in the same era.

Were you living in Belfast at the time? Those were great nights.

Always amazes me when the Men from the West can't say anything funny without having a Dig! at Tyrone, must hurt alot in not winning Sam for 50 years and Tyrone always putting one over on there Minors.

Thers so many very funny new comedians coming on stream. Micky Flanagan from east London is brilliant. Great at telling the story type jokes.

O Briain, McIntyre excellent.

Tommy Tiernan can be very good but can be poor. Don't like Des Bishop

Well its not my forte, but I do enjoy the clever, knowing satire Stewart Lee provides. I find the opportunist, bitter "satire" found regularly on here to be be rather cheap.

What might put me off him is that a lot of his fans were simply told by the guardian that he is good, rather than simply find him funny.
