apologies slayer, a typo!

no hassle - but I doubt Thurlesblues ever wore the blue & gold and if he did it was probably as one of the wise men in a Xmas play ......

I suspect you're right! Although no doubt we'll shortly have 9 posts in a row telling us of his fictional exploits

thurlesblues - a little 'schadenfreude' there. Tony Browne is a legend. Try a little graciousness in victory

I take it you didn't go to the match yourself then?

As for Browne, he has had better days, but that's no reason to slag him off.

So when all the normal Tipp people like Hag and Cheese were off to have a pint or two, you ran, or absailed, from the Hogan over to the Hotel so that you could post stuff here within half an hour of the final whistle? I have to say, I feel honoured in a strange sinister sort of way ;-)

thurlesblue wasn't at the match. He was posting from his bedsit hoping to wind up proper GAA supporters and claim what he thinks of as a victory.

It's as hard to believe that you have 9 friends as it is to believe that Tipp have beaten Kilkenny in 9 finals, but in both cases I'll take your word for it :-)

hurlingdub:

As far as i know jury's croke park was booked out shortly after the galway game and he was out of the country at that stage... also He said on friday that he'd be having pints outside barry's hotel the day of the match.....

Also point of note I made a phonecall as i was leaving my seat in the cusack stand checked the phone there and that was at 17:09 yet thurlesblues left the stadium and got back to the hotel threw all the crowds logged on in his hotel room and continued posting till 8 or 9 that night... did they bring the pints to your room must have been fair crowded with 9 lads in there.

Strange also thurlesblues if you are the age you claim did you not have any kids or wife at the match also I'd find it hard to belive your 9 mates who would therefore be in thier mid forties would head to the match for the weekend in the same prediciment...

Also did you get a helicopter up as you seem to be posting on H.s all weekend and also past checkout time!!!!

That's a swiss chesse sort of a story your were telling there "dilusional views" (a.k.a thurlesblues) full of holes!!!
