Hey Thurlasblues why don't you pick on someone your own size. Try come on here and slag people from Kilkenny, I know your a WUM and the most irritating one i've ever come across but there's no need to pick on teams for what they have won. I think you'll find that you personally had nothing got to do with what Tipp have achieved and it's people like you that are subs on Junior C teams because ye haven't a notion how to hold a hurley. I've read your posts, with your poor grammer and text talk you were no more around in the 1960's than my 2 year old was. 60 year olds to not talk in your lingo. Face it, Tipp have achieved nothing in 40 years like said by another poster. Go off and celebrate Tipps all ireland wins in the 1800's and have a home coming if you want, we'll celebrate winning these ones with real hurling people that appreciate good hurling. Tipp "a sleeping giant"? how much sleep do ye need? Aren't you forgetting that Kilkenny have dominated underage for the last number of years and Clare are now the team to beat in munster so i don't know where all these successful years are going to come from. Ye have the hinges on the back door worn out at this stage, what would ye do without it...

there was a time not so long ago kk when ye couldnt buy an AI .AND IF HISTORY TELL US ANYTHING YE WILL BE THERE AGAIN. i dont know why you say kk is dominating underage dublin are in far better shape and actually made yer u21s look quite ordinary .as for clare dominating munster????1 u21 title in 1 grade doesnt constitute as dominence. as for thurlas smugness you would do well to check out the kilkenny cats site before you start throwing stones in glass houses the arrogence on that site is unparrelled

it really annoys me me read your post kk on only your second post intentionally or not you managed to poke fun a ridicule a whole county and its deservedly proud tradition .as for thurlas blues if you want to debate issues with him then do so if not then dont Not many agree with him but in fairness to him no matter how heated a debate he gets into he sticks to the points[ as he sees them] and never gets personal with anyone ,So on that point you have absolutly no right to just join this site and be condesending CALL PEOPLE NAMES AND WORST OF ALL HAVE PERSONALISZED ATTACK ON ANY POSTER.

booboo, i'm not going into a KK detabe here on a forum about the legend that is Tony Browne but since when have Kilkenny ever had to buy a medal?

Kilkenny have won All Irelands in every decade since 1900 so Kilkenny's barron spells have not lasted long. How can Thurlasblues have the right to have the same arrogance as a county that dominated the last decade of hurling.
If any other county had that much success they would not be as subtle about it as KK are, look at yourselves, won two all irelands and thought ye were the greatest thing since sliced bread. Tipp have won 4 in 41 years and thurlasblues thinks everygame is a training session. If winning 4 in a row doesn't allow you to be arrogant what does?

Kilkenny's record since 2000

Senior - 8 finals, 7 wins
Intermediate - 5 finals, 1 win
Under 21 - 6 finals, 4 wins
Minor, 5 finals, 3 wins

What team have achieved better than that in the last ten years in any grade? Tipp and Cork haven't won an under 21 since the mid 90's, where is the future success coming from? Dublin beat KK in a minor and under 21 game, great for Dublin and the game but a once off win does not mean success at senior level.
What should be worrying for other teams is that Kilkenny have no under 21 and minors on their panel, which means these players get a chance to develop and won't get burnt out like Eoin Kelly (Tipp) and all the other young lads they've brought through too early. We saw what happened Clare against Dublin, too many young lads.

booboo, point out exactly my personalised attack on thurlasblues please, "attack" is a very serious word to use so use it correctly. I'd say you are probably thurlasblues aswel because noone in their right mind would agree with him. He has made vaild points you say? Are you in dreamland? He insulted every team in the country and then insulted Tony Browne who is a legend of the game. Every match is a training session for Tipp is a good point alright. When do KK people come on here and gloat about beating Offaly and Wexford when we are lucky to have comfortable wins against them? You haven't a clue what you are talking about. I've made points to put him back in his box. I've great respect for genuine Tipp supporters who don't come on here making stupid comments.

Why are the admins letting a tread about Tony Browne be taking over by a Tipp fella ranting to himself about former glories either give him a warning or stop him posting this rubbish in this thread,if he wants to talk about the good ole days of Tipp hurling then he can start a new thread.

Galway have been in 9 of the last 11 minor finals, winning 5.
So in that at least we have the measure of the cats! Of course, take absolutely any real measure of success and it wouldn't look so good!
