Well Patrique, if you were siiting on the wall in the Canal End in 1968, i was right underneath you, looking up at you.
I had cycled to Roundwood that morning and cycled to Croke Park and tied my bike to railings - which was the last time, i saw that particular bike.
Well, it was worth it to see Mick Roche that day

Was that your bike? We left it outside Amiens street Station (now Connolly).

Roche in the first half that day was imperious, the second half, Wexford ran riot against an aging Tipp team.

Thurles, Galway have won as many all Irelands as Tipp in the last 30 years or so. In fact its well documented that Tipp hurling went into a steep decline after fellas in the game started wearing helmets during matches.
After that happened, Tipp's usual tactics did not pack the same punch so to speak, and other aspects of the game like skill and pure hurling came to the fore which led to the rise of great teams like Galway and Offaly and Tipp hurling has never recovered from this.

As I have already outlined to hurlingdub and hurlinspuds and hags and cheese Tipp are a 26 point better team than Dublin after Antrim beating them today well done to ye Patrique you fulfilled my statement and as I said they way Cork are playing right now I told ye all that they peaked against Tipp as they are struggling against Waterford and they are a good junior team!!

It looks like the top 4 at the moment are Cork, waterford, Kilkenny and Galway.

Cork are merely building a team but good enough for most in Munster.

Looks like Tipp/Offaly V Galway. Cork V Antrim. Mind you, Offaly can't play Galway again. Now if we have Cork and Galway as runners up, and Offaly and Antrim as qualifiers, it would have to be Galway V Antrim and Cork V Offaly, memories of 2000.
