Brian White (Louth) also deserves to be in there. Himself and Keenan have one of the best midfield partnerships in the country. men_of_49 (Meath) - Posts: 2003 - 07/07/2010 11:03:03 699057 Link 0 |

love watching sean cavanagh midfield...he has a serious engine which gets him lots of scores...then i'd hav to agree wth earley and galvin...our own nigel crawford would be up there as well...would reserve judgement on the louth pairing until after sunday..dunno hw much of a challenge the westmeath pair actually put to the...spose time will reveal all... heartbrakekid (Meath) - Posts: 50 - 07/07/2010 11:16:14 699074 Link 0 |

Dick Clerkin of Monaghan has been useful so far this year. The Ulster final will tell a tale when he's up against the likes of Cavanagh. Scruffy2Donut (Cavan) - Posts: 1112 - 07/07/2010 11:40:30 699109 Link 0 |

Would love a pairing of galvin and someone like sean cavaghan. galvin to catch the ball and hold the position and cavanagh to get few scores and doing the attacking. dstuction (Donegal) - Posts: 1209 - 07/07/2010 11:46:51 699118 Link 0 |
I agree with the meath man - reserve judgement on the louth pairing until after sunday!!! No doubt paddy keenan is a wonderfully talented player and in my opinion, impresses most times he pulls on the louth shirt but to put him and brian white up there with the best midfield partnerships in the country may be a step too far. They have been very impressive so far this championship season but against weak midfield opposition in my opinion. Longford weren't at full strength and they struggled past them, kildare played with an unfit dermot earley and clearly underprepared kildare team, and westmeath are known to be short of midfield options this year so until I see the louth boys outjump crawford and meade this weekend I'd go easy on praise and keep their feet on the ground!!!
