I thought Be Kind Rewind was good fun navynblue, it doesn't take itself seriously and its a film about people making crap homemade films, so for you to think it was rubbish...eh means it was good!

I also thought Burn After Reading was great fun too, though the moody admins took exception to me saying that earlier in the thread.

Oh Breff, I can't believe you liked it
I know to each his own and all but my god that rubbish joke that went on for 20 minutes where mos def (couldn't understand a word he was saying throughout most of this film) is trying to decipher what Danny Glover was saying to him when he gets on a train - I would rather watch Emmerdale!!

But look, I hate Matt Damon and because he's in the bourne films, I hate them too so.....

Strange list there. I like Juno, Romeo and Juliet (the Baz Leurman one?) and As Good As It Gets very much, especially Romeo and Juliet.

Don't remember that bit, can't remember much of it but I know I enjoyed watching it. I laughed a lot at Jack Black breaking into the power centre and having the wire fence camouflage on his back so maybe that laugh carried me the whole way through the film. It is funny when they do the Ghostbusters scenes.

The Godfather
Totally Overated
Big family have wedding dad gets shot - son gets killed - other son gets them back during christening
cant see why they needed 200 odd minutes to cover that storyline

The only reason it was so scary was because everyone was saying it was and everyone was so on edge watching it.

well as a twelve year old me and about 30 others walked out of big momas house 2, and when 30 twelve year olds think a film is bad, it's very, very bad....

as far as supposed A-list movies go, no country for old men made me angry how bad it was... but the prize for worst film ever goes to, as royalgirl mentioned, fatal deviation. in fact only yesterday cracked (a popular american magazine website) featured an article on how bad it was. http://www.cracked.com/article_18632_irelands-only-kung-fu-movie-is-worst-film-ever-made.html

I'm a big Kevin Smith fan but "Mallrats" is very poor. Worst film I ever saw in the cinema was "Save the last Dance" with Julia Stiles, I think it was an MTV financed film. Had to go as was in doghouse with the missus at the time!! Although can't work out what I could have done to merit such punishment!
